Green'sBakery Cinnamon Loaf Babka, 3 Pack 24 oz. Fresh and Delicious, OK Certified Kosher and Pareve Babka Bread, Dairy Free and Nut Free

I've bought Green's products before..the apricot hamentashen are very good..if anything,not quite sweet enough, so the ciinnamon babka was a big surprise. There is, to be fair, loads of cinnamon ( love it ) but the cake is so sweet ..so loaded with sugar, that even I, who loves a sweet pastry for breakfast..or lunch..or..lol..cannot eat it.The babka more accurately seems to lack the plainer part in the right proportion. I expected a yellowish whitish yeasted pastry with layers of cinnamon sugar, perhaps other taasty bits ,rolled up, making for an overall sweet but not cloying taste treat.However, these are almost all cinnamon sugar with just enough dough to hold together. It's a shame because it seems like a glitch and if the balance were just fixed, they'd be delicious.I ended up giving all beyond a bite to taste, away. Still love the hamentashen but wishing for a great babka :-)

While in New York last year I purchased Babka for the first time. It was fantastic. When I returned to California I searched the internet for Babka, tried a few different types and then found Green's Traditional Babka. It is absolutely delicious and the only Babka I have purchased for the past 11 months. It is always fresh and delivery is timely. Flavor is magnificent, whether it is Cinnamon or Chocolate. I highly recommend Greens's Traditional Babka.

I first had this pastry by Green’s when I visited relatives on the east coast. I couldn’t believe how flavorful and moist it was. I loved it! I’ve tried other brands of babka and Green’s is by far the best. Then I returned home to the Midwest and couldn’t find it anywhere. Amazon to the rescue! Thankfully, I found this product there so I don’t have to drive 400 to pretend to visit relatives!

This was my first order to “Greens Cakes” and it won’t be my last! One word describes my experience with them; AWESOME! I ONLY gave them five stars because I couldn’t give them 6 or 10, or 20, or 100!!! Their Cinnamon Babka is so delicious & fresh, even after traveling coast-to-coast.” J (I say IS because we are rationing it out, my hubby & I, to make it last longer!!!) This Babka is 24 ounces of deliciousness. If you need it in a hurry, I assume there is extra-speedy shipping you can purchase. It took much longer than Prime orders to arrive. I’m not sure why there was a long period of time between the order and the delivery. Perhaps they take a specific number of orders then bake and ship at the same time? When it arrived, I just appreciated it even more, especially after tasting it!!! Thank you for this wonderful Babka Expertise! True Perfection! Thinking ahead, we are planning a large family gathering for Thanksgiving and I will be ordering the 3 loaf pack!!! (These won’t be rationed!) Thank You, “Green’s Cakes”! You know what you are doing in the kitchen!!! If you want to truly have “Sweet Dreams”, you must try “GREENE’S CAKES” BABKA!

Personally I don't love it - my Mom does. Unless its around the holidays, I can never find her "cinnamon" Babka in the store, just chocolate.I like being able to order it from Amazon, and when she opens the door - "poof" there it is!She told me the taste is great, the cinnamon is just right and not too overwhelming, and it always tastes fresh and delicious. She won't share with company, its a special treat just for her.

Texture and flavor was restaurant quality. Stayed true throughout the week. Bit of heat, about 20 seconds in microwave and just like out of the oven. Tastes similar in flavor to a cinnamon frosted bun extremely popular at county fairs, but more dense. Calories are high for a small amount, but worth the sweet tooth trek, and a good value. Highly recommend it. (not for diabetics though)

Love this bread. I live in a community with a Jewish bakery and they don't carry it.In have ordered multiple times and have not been disappointed.FYI the bread freezes great.

It's hard to find babka in California. When I was in elementary school in the late 60s, I used to save my lunch money and go to this little corner store. My 2 favorite things were red licorice (which used to be a penny apiece), and a small cinnamon babka that was sold as a single serving - kind of like hostess cupcakes. This cinnamon babka has the perfect combination of doughy middle with layers of sugary cinnamon, and a crusty outside layer. It tasted like it had just been made - extremely fresh. It didn't last long!
