The Story of Coretta Scott King

I got this for my 3-year-old even though she clearly doesn't need board books. But, I wanted a child-version of Coretta's story. This was pretty heavy. They talk about the white people who burned down Coretta's father's business and how Martin was killed. I wasn't prepared to teach her those lessons yet.

I love the series of books by Patricia Pringy. They are very useful for working with pre-school children.
