3 year update (2023): This has to be the best deal you can get for one of these. It has held up and still looks brand new. Years of automatic carwashes and vacation trips it works just like it did the day I got it out of the box. When I get to the point of needing a new one, I'll get one of these again. After looking at reviews, I figured I would give this a shot for my 2016 F-150 5.5 foot bed. First off, packaging is great. Its in a very heavy duty box and everything is backed securely. Honestly looks like something that would come from a much more expensive set up. No damage at all and it would take a lot to actually damage it. Set up is super easy. Instructions are straight forward, basically put in place and line it up with your bed then tighten it. Simple as that. Everything is well constructed and looks and feels very good quality. It looks great on my truck and rolling up and unrolling is very easy. The braces fall right into track and the rear locks perfectly. I did install the weather stripping on the front. Some may not need it, but I have a hard bed liner and still used it. The brackets do go on with no issue even with he bed liner which was one of my concerns. So I was very happy about that. I would say anyone in the market for a soft bed cover to get this one. There is no way a much more expensive one could be much better. As long as this holds up, I would say there is no better deal.

Going on 4 months now and it still looks brand new imo. Very satisfied with durability, looks, and its ability to maintain its strength and repel water. Very easy to latch and unlatch, easy to roll up and secure, it keeps everything dry. It’s not perfect but as long as you’re not hauling electronics, you’re good. Installed properly means you can throw luggage back there and drive through anything with nothing more than a possible streak or two of water running down the bedliner. I installed it myself, I would recommend getting additional foam to seal in whatever doesn’t seat perfectly with the truck. I’m sure if I did it perfectly I wouldn’t need the extra foam, maybe I’m extra cautious.

Shipped in high quality durable packaging. No written instructions but the product video online at Amazon gave instructions for installation. Took 10 minutes to install once figured out the optimum way to adjust rear clamps. High quality vinyl with no stiching defects or crease marks at the hinged folding points. Thick rubber seal gasket on the long sides with rain off lips at top and bottom. Truck bed remained dry after road test in severe thunderstorm the day after installation. Great looks, quality, and price.

Let me start by saying my “complaints” aren’t even really complaints, for my purposes this cover is almost perfect. Installation was a breeze, took less than an hour with the help of my 5yr old. Cover is tight and looks good when closed. Feels secure enough to deter a theft of opportunity, obviously a knife will solve that or reaching the side under the Velcro to unlatch it, but most thefts are of things in plain sight and easily accessible. Alignment is great, absolute *chefs kiss* for fit. Now my “complaints” the weather stripping that was provided was long enough to cover the front, but because the strip was folded instead of rolled it left indents in the stripping that prevent a good seal. Nothing a little silicone can’t solve, or even after waiting a few days/hours it might return to normal shape and be fine. Not sure on that but thought it worth pointing out. A simple change in packaging would prevent the indents and give a better seal upon immediate install/inspection. The seal for the tailgate doesn’t look thick enough to cover all of miscellaneous gaps but I haven’t closed the tailgate with myself inside to see if there are any gaps, but if Tyler were to make the rubber strip on the tailgate side it would instill more confidence in the seal. Again my complaints aren’t really complaints, just observations. For me a tonneau cover isn’t about making the bed water proof it’s about making it water resistant. If I had anything like a computer that I didn’t want to get wet it would go in the cab with me. So even if the seals aren’t “perfect” this cover will provide everything I could want. But ya know, there’s always room for improvement lol

Easy install, great fit !

I bought this tonneau cover for my truck when I purchased it in 2017. It has been on my truck 99% of the time since then in the fully closed position. It has handled multiple trips through snow and ice, and many summers of NC heat. It has always kept my luggage nice and dry. Overall the installation, operation, and ultimate longevity have been more than what I could ask for out of a tonneau cover at this cost. I just bought a new one to replace my first one that honestly could still hold its own but the seams are starting to show its age. Buy with confidence.

My new, but used, 2020 Ford F-150 XLT had a bed liner, but no cover. I checked with the dealership on the options, and it was very expensive to do it through their resource (almost $700). So I decided to wait and think about it. I'm so glad I did! My son-in-law told me about the tonneau covers available on Amazon, so I did some research and landed on this Tyger brand and style. It looked perfect, so I took a chance and purchased it. I'm so happy I did! The quality is great, the price was right....much less than half of what the dealership wanted. I wasn't sure how difficult it would be to install, but to my surprise, it was easy to do! We drove the truck around after installation - up to speeds of 75 mph on the interstate - and it was great. I feel like there is less wind noise when driving now, with the cover on the bed. I'm expecting a bit better gas mileage too. It rained while we were out test driving after cover installation, and a small amount of rain filtered down through the cover up by the crew cab. One of the accessories that came with the liner was some type of strip pad that perhaps will help with this - I need to look into this. But honestly the amount of water that leaked through wasn't a lot and wasn't greatly concerning. Thank you Tyger for saving me a lot of money!

I purchased this cover for a road trip to Blue Ridge GA, from Florida. I knew there was some rain we would encounter so I wanted something to protect our luggage and equipment we were traveling with. I found this on Amazon and read many reviews before purchasing, but ultimately got it. I am glad I did because this thing is awesome for the money. I actually did not know tri-folding soft tops existed. This cover is easy to install and comes with a decent weather strip to fill in gaps. After installation I closed it up and went to the self carwash. Using a pressure sprayer I washed my truck and sprayed the cover. After I was done there was a few drips of water in the bed. For me, thats pretty amazing considering rain does not fall at a perfectly sideways motion at that high pressure. I expected a lot of water to make it inside, but it did not. I drove the (approximately) 550 miles to Blue Ridge and did encounter rain. I was NOT driving slow (about 80-85mph) on most of the trip. This cover did not let any water in, and held up absolutely perfectly. We encountered snow once we reached out destination and on one night we had a feel like low temp of 16. I would definitely recommend this cover to anyone. I forgot to mention, I did purchase a vinyl spray/protectant for it. I mean, it is vinyl and I live in blistering Florida so keeping it protected is very important. Purchase with confidence! 12-10-2022: Over two year later and the cover is still as the day I bought it. My truck is never in the garage in Florida heat. The cover has no tears and still does not leak in heavy rain. I would say this was money will spent. I do have to say, I have taken great care of the cover by regularly treating it with vinyl protection spray. If you don’t, expect that it will dry and start tearing.

it fits my perfectly, no problem, installation is not a problem, fairly easy, it took me about 50 min to finish installation. overall quality is good, durability needs to be tested under weather, no complains. the tricky part for me is the position of the side bar -- how close to the rear door, it needs some adjustment.

Really like this tonneau cover and great value for what you get. Almost 1/2 price of Ford accessory comparable tri-fold cover. The install was easy and it fit my 2019 F-150 short box like a glove. The Amazon ‘fits’ has it wrong for 2019 F-150 short box, and I verified exact model number on Tyger’s website before ordering. Little concerned about durability of hardware as it seemed a little less rugged than previous tonneau cover’s I have had. Time will tell, for now very happy with this purchase...arrived in 3 days after order in perfect condition!!!

I bought this for my F150 Ford truck. The fit is great. It looks great. Went 115 kph on the 401 and holds well. Highly recommend this.

Love the value for money on this...doesn't feel cheap or poorly put together at all. I have had no problems with it, it has nice clamps and provides a nice water tight seal on my 2018 F-150, I have a linex bedliner, and have had a minor issue with the padding sealing the front of the bed, but no water issues or any negative effects other than the weatherstrip sliding out a bit. I think I can add a second one and problem solved, just need to pull it all apart to do so. 8.9 / 10 based on that
