Fits perfect in my 2002 chevy silverado. For 30 bucks it's a good deal. I don't think it's a super durable plastic. I'm sure that's why the original one broke. I'm hoping that it will last as long as the original. It looks very nice. Looks like it fits and works as it should. Installing was not bad and I did it by myself. It would be easier with two people. I did not have to re move the middle console. Just move the passenger and driver seat all the way to the back so that you have enough clearance. The springs do seem lil weak. I lost the original ones so I'm forced to use the replacement springs. The console will stay open if you open it and hold it at the top so the springs can stay in that position otherwise it will close on you if you don't open it all the way. It's a good product for the price. I do recommend this to anyone who needs a replacement. Save the original springs. They might be stronger than the replacement springs. I will update if any issues come up. Also the color is perfect. I got the dark gray. Matches perfectly to my interior.

So after I read several reviews about the quality of the upholstery work and the color being off I was hesitant but I took a chance and ordered this. First impression is good, the color was correct and the plastic parts all looked to be of decent quality. Everything fit together as it should so installation was easy, I read several people talking about having to take the console out but this was not the case for me. Overall I would say for the price they are asking this was a deal worth making and I am happy with the purchase. Time will tell how well it holds up but it was a $30 part, of I get 5 years I’ll be happy.

I was a little skeptical about buying this considering the price. I figured it would look super cheap. It actually looks nicer than the OEM that was in the truck. The color is a little darker, but not too bad. The vynil seems to be pretty thick and has a decent texture to it, a little more coarse than OEM. How durable it is is to be determined. Install was easy. You do NOT have to remove the console/ top part of the seat like some videos show. Just slide the seat back and recline them and you can get the pin out that way. It took me 7 minutes to do it. The springs are light so you may want to reuse your original ones.

Perfect fit!! Dead on match to dash. Very easy to install.My 99 console lid got broken. Sadly it was one of only a couple years that had the map holder in top and elastic under lid. The new lid was the plain tray style and leather style.It had no instructions and the YouTube ones that tell you to pull the console out are smoking something. The tools you need are (pliers, I used channellocks and a small screwdriver) tap the rod with screwdriver and channel locks or hammer slide out rod. I reused factory springs and pin but utilized all other new components and had it installed in a few seconds (literally) with no real tools. Lay the seats back and do the same as I did.Would buy again. If none were available in junkyard cheaper.

Overall, the item went in and looks nice. It is sturdy and fits well like OEM. However, there were NO instructions included which required a visit to YouTube to find the installation instructions. Once I watched the video, the installation was quick and painless. The only other thing was that the color wasn't quite what I expected; it came darker. No big deal since its not important that it matches exactly.

This is still day 1, but I'm very happy with this. The install was very easy, and it looks so much better! No more cracked plastic pinching my arm! Great color match! The only thing I would recommend is to use the original springs, and not the new ones that come in the kit. The original springs have much more tension and open up the lid easier and hold it up much better. These new springs do not have very much tension at all and don't hold up the lid well. I'm still giving it five stars because for the price and the ease of install it's totally worth it to transform the look of a 20-year-old vehicle to look new especially since some of these new interior pieces are harder to get on old cars... Just definitely use the old springs.

This fits very well, no noticeable wobble side to side or any unusual fitment. Materials look like original, and I don't see a difference with the lid closed between the two. It comes with no instructions, but I am decently mechanically inclined and install took under 15 minutes.The foam at the front around the latch is a bit thicker than the original cover, so I do have to close it a bit harder to get it to latch than I am used to. This may settle in better with more time on my truck. The springs that hold the lid up this comes with don't seem quite as strong as the original ones, the lid doesn't stay up quite as well as the original, but I don't think this will be much of a problem.
