This is a really cool product and very effective in helping to measure body parts. For example, I needed to know what size dog collar to buy my dog and this quickly and accurately measured my dog’s neck. A friend broke her ankle and needed to measure her leg for a leg brace/crutch that she wanted to try and this tool does so quickly, accurately and effectively. A very clever idea. Very easy to use. Quick and accurate results.

Great product, so easy to use I don’t know why I didn’t look for something like this year’s ago. I’ve made so many measuring mistakes over the year by using a standard tape - not the aluminum kind contractors use, but the kind you’d see at a seamstress. It’s fine for measuring something on a flat surface, but you arm, or thing or similar and you wind up mis-measuring and buying the wrong size. This tape measure handles both functions - straight measuring (like an inseam) and circumference (like your arm). Simple to use.. I’m very happy.

This is a solid body tape measure that works exactly as intended. It tends to fall out too easily, which can be frustrating when trying to measure solo. The media could not be loaded. First you need to understand how it works. Yellow side starts at almost 2 inches, because the length of the case is accounted for and rolled up inside the peg. Then when the peg is placed into the holding slot, it's matched back up to its starting point. The only time that might be a problem would be if you tried to measure something smaller than a couple inches, a finger or size for a ring for example. But, in that case you could turn it over and use the white side where the starting point, 0, is visible, just like a regular ruler. Or tie a string or zip tie around your finger, remove it, then lay it flat along the white side. The slot holds the peg in place, but it loose, I have to keep a thumb over it until I push the button. The button will retract the tape and create tension removing the slack. It is lightweight, and fits in your hand well. The slight curve of the bottom also helps when it comes to fitting snugly against a body part. Most of us have some curve to every body part. I've used it many times on many different kinds of uses, it holds up well. And the most accurate way to track fitness progress is to use the same devices , tapes, scales, etc, and compare from week to week so your only variable is your results, not your methods. I do recommend this, it's really great for those of us with bigger bodies since it is longer than others. I hope this info has helped you.
