Yes, folks... those buyers who complained about the noxious chemical odor of these roller weren't kidding. Thought I could air them out well, or treat with an odor-eliminating spray, but even two weeks of airing didn't help.Hate to say it, but would award ZERO stars if I could. These are getting pitched... not worth the time and effort to return. :(

I had never used “flexi rods” but after watching a few YouTube videos, I decided to give it a shot. And my goodness I’m glad I did! I’ve recently changed my hair color to eggplant purple and in an effort to keep my color looking fabulous I wanted an easy, no heat styling method. I’m totally hooked. These are great. I have SUPER thick long hair with tons of natural waves. I initially ordered a pack of grey and purple sizes but because my hair is so thick, it took forever to dry, even on towel dried/damp. So I ordered a second set of grey. It literally takes 10 minutes to “roll” my whole head. I use my diffuser attachment to dry if I’m in a hurry. Having smaller sections with more rods speeds the drying process and it’s so easy once you get the hang of it. Don’t be intimidated. $15 bucks for 3 packs, no damage to my hair, and literally 10 mins of effort if I leave them in without using my dryer... I get hounded about “my beautiful hair!” SOLD! Worth every penny and then some.

Although the curlers did not come with instructions, they were pretty straight forward and easy to use. The material looks/feels cheap (like yoga mat material on the outside with a bendable wire inside; the end caps were a bit flimsy) but it was mostly durable and did what it was supposed to do.My hair is 33” long and straight/thin. Splitting my hair into 6 sections, I only needed up using 5 rods though. They were large enough to roll up an entire section and still have space to twist the ends closed. I used on mostly dry-damp hair and slept with them overnight. That was not the comfiest thing, but the curls turned out great! No heat curls!

Simple packaging, pleasing to the touch, and an excellent color, these rods are sturdy, well constructed, and versatile. They allow for what seems like an endless number of creative hair designs. My daughter loves the way they function, as they assist her in accomplishing many of the cool hair designs that she has been struggling to create. So far, they're performing exceptionally!

I love any product that enhances my curls but they're usually 1. very expensive or 2. involve heat- which is a huge no-no for me. I have very long, thick hair so the traditional method takes forever and it only makes sense for me to have the majority of time spent curling be done while I sleep! Plus, products only do so much to curl my hair. These are super comfy to sleep in, super versatile (I've tried out some different methods for wrapping my hair, but I have a lot of ideas for other looks). It's so rare to find such a quality, multi-functional product!
