Wonderskin Lip Stain Set – Long Lasting, Waterproof, Lip Tint Peel Off

I thought I would give this lip stain a try, but I was unsure if I would like it. I have found that lip stains really have not worked for me and they tend to dry out my lips; however, I really like this product. There is some trial and error involved and I quickly found out how this product works best for me. First, I put a face moisturizer on my lips. I then put a thick coat of the stain on my lips but I try not to get any stain on the inside of my lips because it doesn't come off easily and I have flecks on the inside of my lips that have to be picked off. I usually put on two heavy coats. I then spray one or two pumps of the sealer on the stain. After about five minutes I scrub it off with the cloth that comes with the stain. It doesn't peal off like the commercial shows. If you don't moisturize your lips prior, it is hard to get the stain to rub off. The stain stays on my lips all day. If my lips start drying out, as they do all the time even without this stain, I put on some chap stick throughout the day. The chap stick does not cause the stain to come off. In fact, on some days, the stain has stayed on my lips until I take off my makeup at the end of the day. Of course it does fade some throughout the day but you can reapply or just add some chap stick or gloss which seems to revive the stain. I will continue to repurchase.

Awesome! I purchased Whimsical for myself and XOXO for my 20 year old daughter. Looks great, lasts about 3-4 hours for the full color look but slowly wears off. I don't wear a lot of make-up so this is a great addition to a very minimal look without having to reapply.

I'll start by saying the good thing about this product: I love how the color looks on me! I have a really difficult time finding lipstick that doesn't change colors and look awkward once I apply it, but this color is great. "Charming" is the perfect color for me! It lasts several hours too. The negative: I opened it from the sealed package and took it out and it had sticky purple pieces on the applicator that flaked off. I picked all of these pieces out and used the product. It never went on thick, like in the photos...which may be because there was not much product in the package. I got just over 10 applications before I couldn't get any more out of the tube to apply. I contacted the company and asked if this was normal. They told me that it was probably my fault, that I didn't store it tightly in a cool dark place. I explained that it came out of the package this way. They also told me I should get between 45 and 60 applications. WOW. I wish I could've got that many. Unfortunately, customer service didn't offer any way to make it right. I was disappointed with their service. Having said all this, I did like the color so much (Charming), that I will give this product ONE more try. If the next package is this bad, I'm done. It is silly to pay $2 per day for lipstick.

I’m seriously obsessed with the Wonderskin Lip Stain! The color comes out so beautiful and natural-looking, and once it sets, it actually STAYS. I love that I can eat, drink, and go about my day without constantly worrying about reapplying or having lipstick transfer everywhere. It feels lightweight on my lips and gives that perfect “your lips but better” look without feeling heavy or sticky. The application is fun and easy, and the final result is totally worth the hype. Definitely one of my new favorite lip products I’ll absolutely be trying more shades! 💋✨

I got the XOXO shade and I absolutely love the color! It has such a beautiful payoff and looks even better once it’s applied. It also lasts for a good amount of time, which I really appreciate. My only complaints are that it can be a little difficult to peel off easily, and I wish the activation spray nozzle produced a finer, more even mist. Those two things would make the application process much easier. You also get that tingling feeling after applying the mist too! Overall, I’m really happy with the color and how it turns out. I would definitely try other colors!

5 stars for me. I chose Charming, and the color is a beautiful, true rosy shade that gives my lips noticeable color without looking overdone. I’ve tried several brands of lip stains, and there is definitely a trick to getting the best result with this one. I applied a thick, even layer — actually multiple coats — and let it dry completely before using the activator spray. That gave me the easiest peel and the best color payoff. Once I got the hang of it, it was very easy to use. No noticeable fragrance or weird texture. After peeling it off, I was left with a really pretty, natural-looking color that stayed put. I especially like having color and definition on my lips without having to constantly reapply lip liner throughout the day. There was a little learning curve, but once I figured out the application, it worked great. Gorgeous shade, will buy again.

I gave this stuff two stars because the lip stain does stay on for most of the day. It lost three stars because the blue peelable part dries and doesn't actually come off evenly. I tried using the product twice and had the same problem both times. The developer/fixative spray doesn't just spray your lips, you end up wearing it from your nose to your chin and although it was sweet tasting, it burned my skin and had to be washed off after a few minutes requiring that I redo my makeup on the lower part of my face. I just threw the stuff in the trash.

This is definitely a stain, not a lipstick or gloss, which I appreciate. I wear Invisalign braces and have to use a stain to prevent getting lipstick all over them. Wonderskin is a stain, and I do not have any issues with transfer, on my braces or cups, etc. However, I scored it a 3 for 2 reasons. One, the color is very faint. I left it on for at least 5 minutes as suggested to darken the color. Although it was slightly darker than just leaving it on for 1 minute as directed, it was still very faint and the color was nowhere close to what was shown in the description or the video. By midday, it looks almost like I have nothing on; there's barely any color. I have 2 colors, and both have the same result. One of the advantages for using stain is so that you don't have to re-apply throughout the day. I don't want to be sitting at my desk in the office with this bright blue color on my lips, so re-applying is not an option. The other reason for the score of 3 is the difficulty and mess it makes taking it off to reveal the color. I've tried makeup remover wipes, just water on a tissue and the spray included in the kit. None of it works easily. The makeup remover wipe takes off too much and you're left with barely any product. The spray in the kit does not make it peel off easily as advertised. It does create a peeling effect, but it flakes and peels off making a big mess and leaving residue all around my mouth and on my teeth/braces. The water on the tissue works best but is still a mess. It spreads the blue color all around your mouth no matter how careful you are, and you have to really scrub to get the blue color off if you have anything but completely smooth lips. I had high hopes to finally find a true lip stain with vibrant colors, but this is not the "miracle product" I had hoped for.

So the longevity of this stain really depends on how long you leave it on. If you follow the minimum time as instructed by the label, your stain will only last a few hours and not be very saturated. Regarding the color: definitely check the chart with all the different color models- look at the one that's closest to you to determine how the color will look on your lips. Don't look at the swatch colors, they're misleading. The longer you leave it on, the darker the color. Get the activator because sure you can remove it by rubbing it off, but you're also rubbing your lips raw and it's messy, takes time. You remove it when your lips are wet with the activator. The taste of the stain/masque is really nice with a cooling serum feel. The activator doesn't taste the best but it isn't nasty. Also try to close your mouth so it doesn't go in.

My natural lips are dark and this stain adds so much color and pigment that lasts me two days before completely fading!! My only complaint is that the product runs out very quickly & only last 1-2 months. I find myself having to repurchase it very often.

Nou je krijgt die paarse zooi er bijna niet af en mijn lippen zagen eruit alsof ik paar uur lang flink op een "lolly" had liggen zuigen! Verschrikkelijke kleur! I did so much research and hesitated to buy this product. Many reviews said it worked and others not so much. I unfortunately had to return it since it did leave my lips a nice shade that great but it was blotchy. And had none is some places even though I went over it with the brush many times. The setting spray burned a bit and then when I peeked it off everything flaked and my lips looked terribly flaky and blotchy. It also blistered for a few days. So for me a definite no I must regretfully say. I liked the colour but the after effect was not good.

Beautiful just too dark a pink for me so gave it to my daughter , made her day 💕
