I like that these are individually wrapped, soft and cushioned. For me, they are a little too puffy, though. They really squish down, though, and they're a good diameter, so it's not an issue to get them inside my compact case (I use L'Oreal pressed powder). I would really like these if they were smoother and less puffy. I feel like I can't control the amount of powder I'm applying as well with these. Their texture seems to pick up more powder, but deposit less on the face. They don't seem to deposit powder evenly, either.Although I don't have a problem with the overall quality of the puffs for the price, I am unlikely to purchase them again for use with my powder compact. They might be better for loose powder.

They feel like velour.

I was so happy to find these. I couldn't get a definite answer to my question and I looked and looked and did my research. I was getting my powder puffs at Walgreens, Walmart and CVS but I couldn't find them anywhere lately. I measured my cover girl loose powder and ordered some on Amazon I would come up with to small or way to big and to thin.i like a puffy powder puff and one that will fit my loose powder case. I want a puff that is not hairy or to hard but just right.. I know I'm being picky but it's my face lol I finally found this puff 2.75 and the thickness is the right fit where the lid closes and I don't have to work about losing powder or holding it down with tape, a rubber band or whatever neat trick I can come up with. So if you use the cover girl loose powder and like a soft , thick replacement puff this one fits :)

These are better than the drug store variety, but they are not as soft as I was expecting after reading the reviews. They are acceptable, but I am not absolutely thrilled with them either.

I bought these based off of one review. The lady said she does make up for women and they always comment on how soft the puffs are. So true! The puffs are incredibly soft. I believe they will be great for make up. They are individually wrapped so I am not worried about them being contaminated in a drawer. I would highly recommend this product. I am sure you can use it to apply body powder. The are not big they are the size of my palm but I believe they would be great for body powder. I will definitely buy them again.

This product is very good if you're looking for a "puffier" type of powder puff. I was looking for a flatter type of powder. However, this is a well made product and will definitely hold powder or foundation and help you to apply it well.
