Excellent
This product appears to be doing what it says as a oil treatment in my 200 gallon tank. Been using this for several years and haven't had a problem and boiler running well.

Don’t rely on your fuel oil tank guage and try Comstar and see if it helps.
My burner and filter previously, on occasion would get clogged with sludge and require a blowout to return to normal. This usually happened when I had a little less than a 1/4 tank. The boiler would run for 3-5 minutes, then gurgle and shutoff. Last heating season I started putting 1/2 a bottle of Comstar super heat in at a 1/4 tank. I stick the tank and usually can feel the sludge on the bottom; currently, I’ touching the bottom and no sludge feeling. Burner has been running fine and I use about 4 once’s prior to each delivery. Could cost less, but so far seems to do the job. Followup: Super Eight continues to keep sludge and or water from compromising my burner; I’ve conducted water paste teste since using and there is no evidence of water.: When I stick the tank , I touch bottom?(metallic bottom sound) , no sludge feeling. Unfortunately, I was about to buy again, but even though the advertised price is $12.07which should cost 36.96 is suddenly $33 and change. I’ll look elsewhere

A must for oil tanks
I've been using this in my oil tank for years. I had my boiler cleaned out and the technician said it looked noticeably cleaner than from before I started using it. I make sure to tell all my neighbors to use it too.

Fuel Additive
I bought this product on the recommendation of a neighbor. I have been having issues with my diesel tractor just stalling for no apparent reason when snow blowing (winter months). I already use a number of fuel supplements whenever I have my outside tank filled, so I was not sure what was going on. I changed the tractor fuel filter and that seemed to help at the time, but then the problem came back. I tried adding a Diesel 911 type product directly to the tractor tank when filling to see if that would help and it stopped the problem cold. That is what I did throughout last winter and never had a problem. So I figured adding this product to my outdoor storage tank would likely solve my problems. So far this winter I have not experienced a singe stall, so it is working great for me. I think I will likely stop buying and adding the other products to my fuel, as this one seems to do all I need. I would definitely recommend it, as the price is very reasonable.

As expected.
We have an old furnace so I'm surprised at how well this works. It's worth the buy and I'll definitely be repurchasing again.

Worked well down to 5 degrees F
I have an outdoor 275 gallon tank at my shop. I had an issue earlier in the year with the feed line freezing solid around Christmas in single digit weather. I was using diesel anti gel, many different types over the years, and the line still froze, although I will admit the oil was delivered in March 2022. I refilled the tank soon after, but we have been having unseasonably warm weather. The forecast was calling for single digits last night, so I added a bottle of 8 in 1 to a half tank (150 gals) Last night we dropped to 5 with a -20 windchill. I stopped in today to find the shop warm. Fired up without at problem at 20 degrees outside. I will continue to use this as long as I have oil heat! Definitely recommended
