Does the job!
We bought this to give a firm surface for our lab to lay on behind the front passenger seat. It’s easy to install and works like we wanted. Well made and looks nice to boot.

My Favorite Dog Product!
This has been a game changer!! We keep our dog in the back seat and he always tries to get as close to us in the front seat. We had tried everything, he kept falling in between the seats...the belt we used to clip him in would always get twisted up it was awful.I finally tried this and it has never left our car. He loves feeling that he's next to us, he has enough slack to move around and you can tell he's a lot more at peace. This is a wonderful product. It's a bit expensive, but I can promise you it's worth it!

It’s ok unless you find something better
The media could not be loaded. It has been a lifesaver I had to travel across country with a dog skittish and afraid to ride in back seat by herself. What I don’t like is 1 - like everyone says it almost completely blocks the backseat vent. A little air is able to rise at top edge of extender. I bought one of the camping fans that clips on to railing I bought railing to prevent dog from jumping to the front. Still I try to cool the Honda Pilot before we ride to make it easier on her. 2 - I’m a little leery that it would hold my dogs 75 lbs. so far it has but I also put a cushion underneath the extender where she first gets in car. The extender flap doesn’t go all the way to the back of the seat. 3 - the extender is a little thick it has to be so it’s sturdy. However since it doesn’t go all the way to the backseat I struggle using folded dog blankets and rugs to make it a smooth bed. 4 - since car seats are not level they slant down in the back that again adds to not making the bed uneven. I suppose if you had someone that could make a platform on top of the extender then cushion it somehow it would be better. In the meantime it’s ok. 5 - one of the good things about this is I can bend one-off the flaps down. This helped to let someone ride in back with my dog and she could lay across up to the middle till she got used to riding in back. So until something better this is it for me

Great for traveling and general use!
UPDATE (07/24/2024): This thing has seen some stuff. Car sick dogs; many road trips with multiple dogs, vet visits and more. I can't recommend this enough. We've had this for nearly ten years apparently, and it's still trucking. We've used it in a small sedan & multiple SUVs (4runner, cx5, etc). We've changed out the middle bit for more stability, but it still works and makes a difference for travel with dogs.---------- Original Review below -------------I was a bit worried it wouldn't fit in my vehicle, because it has such a small back seat area. But it fits my Chevy Sonic without any issue. Our dog comes with us on all sorts of travels, some just down the street others on the other side of the country. This has helped make the back seat more spacious for her, and allows us to have a nice area for food and water without taking up 90% of the back area.We haven't had any issues with it in terms of quality or being able to withstand her weight (60lbs or so), and I can visually see that she makes use of it. I frequently see her sitting on the part closest to the driver or passenger seat, next to the window, and the extender has no issue with stability. As for how easy it is to set up: I found it very easy to do. I read the instructions, and followed them without any issue. I have yet to take it out of the car, because our dog is in there so frequent it would be inconvenient to set up on an near daily basis. I am happy I was able to not put the middle spot up, because it would just block all of the airflow for the back completely. So far, it's lasted us a few months (and two looongg trips) and doesn't seem to have any sign of wear. I hope it lasts us a while, and I definitely would buy again!

ok, but does not work for my SUV
If you are petite and your partner is taller than you are by about 6" (1/2feet) or more then I won't recommend this product. If you drive a spacious SUV, then I will say just buy something else with better longer base board. My SUV (ML350) has very spacious leg space for the back passengers. However, I am petite, and need to move the driver's seat forward. Therefore, it kind of put this product on the edge of the seat, making it unstable, and my dog don't trust putting her weight on the product. Other issues I have is that it comes with 4 straps (2pairs). One set of the straps goes around to where the neck of the front seats is. However the other two goes around the backrest of the seat, making the person sitting in front of the seat uncomfortable since they can feel the straps on their back. One thing I do like about this product is that it's very well made.Overall, I think this product will work better if you drive a sedan or a small SUV.

The best one yet
I've experimented with various backseat dog bridges for the car, but most of them are weak and too smooth, causing your dog to slip and slide. However, this particular product is not only simple to install but also sturdy and simple to clean. To provide context, our dog is a border collie mix weighing around 55 kg.

Works great!
It wa a little challenging to instal but it works great. My dog no longer has to worry about sliding into the gap between the seats.I highly recommend this item!

Nicht nur für Hundeliebhaber, auch Auto-Camper.
Exakt was ich gesucht habe!
