The case slides off easily and leaves stains on the edges of the device.

You need to know two things about this "case": 1. The Unit I received is somewhat longer than what you see in the pictures, covering the *whole* device. In the pictures, there are a few millimeters that are exposed near the hinges. I wish they had kept the design in the pictures - because... 2. This current design that I have received massively reduces the devices functionality. You can no longer use it as a phone!! When you try to answer a call and then try to fold the device - it won't! And there is no logical way to hold the phone anymore to make phone calls!!! The same is true for taking pictures. From now on, you are only allowed to take selfies. For the record, the case is made very well, and looks AMAZING - but it's completely worthless from a functionality standpoint. Also, it is quite rigid, so I am not sure how much bumper protection you are actually going to get with this.

Ah traveler, I see you are interested in these wares. Well let me tell you the look and feel are superb, and the fitment is exact. But traveler, let me ask a question, do you use your phone to take and receive calls? Ah, ti's a shame then as this case will not allow the second screen to be folded behind the first. The only option you are left with is to answer the phone with both screens open and look like a crazy person.

It's good for protection but when it comes to get the most of my device it doesn't help since it prevents you to fold my Microsoft Surface Duo completely and either you can't answer calls or take pictures.

First, this isn't going to protect from a drop. It's thin plastic, no rubber. This is to protect from scratches and maybe a small small drop. The leather is glued onto the plastic. The handle is OK but the case is extremely loose so I would definitely not hold it by the strap. It holds the phone on the top and bottom but it slides horizontally off the phone. The case being loose is good because you can slide it an inch or two and flip the phone around for the camera or you could tape it to make it more secure. It also partly blocks the fingerprint sensor and makes it hard to use. It's better than nothing and all the cases I've seen are like this. I think it'll protect more of the back of the phone than the rubber bumpers and make it easier to grip. I recommend it only because there are no other options.

Many reviewers commented that the case doesn't permit the device to completely fold into phone mode. That isn't the fault of the case, it is physics. Not even the $50+ Otter allows positioning in phone mode. This case is quite nice, doesn't look cheap. Stitching is flawless. Fits well. I held it by strap/handle and shook, phone did not slide at all. Will the phone crack if dropped? Possibly, probably. However, the strap greatly reduces the chances of dropping it. I am quite satisfied with the purchase.

It's a decent case for the price. It doesn't fold all the way back, preventing the camera from working and making the phone awkward . If you don't care about the camera or just want to use your Duo like a tablet this is just OK. If you want to fold the Duo back this is not a good case.

I love, love, love this case it fits my Surface Duo PREFECTULLY. I had to purchase another one, I wish it comes in GREEN!!!:) but overall its great. The only thing is with the strap in front came detached, I guess from constant usage from sliding your fingers thru from holding the device. It appears to be a better protection quality rather than the original cover that comes with the phone from purchase. Check it OUT!! If you haven't already!!! Please made a green one for ME!! Fit really good

It falls off the phone all the time it doesn't stay on. Otherwise it would have been great.

Naja die Hülle ist ganz okay,aber die Schnalle, rutscht nach 2 Wochen immer wieder aus dem Knopf heraus,sodass man das Gefühl hat , das man das Surface verliert und runter fällt.vielleicht fällt mir noch etwas ein was man ändern könnte , wenn nicht muss ich es einfach zurückschicken.Muss aber noch anmerken dass ich 3 Finger in die Lasche stecke,habe kleine dünne Finger.🤔
