I used it in my stateroom on a cruise. I placed it on the outside of the bathroom door. It worked great for shoes, sneakers and incidentals for the 3 of us sharing the room. The hooks were too thick for the door to close completely. I expected from the reviews that that may be a problem so I brought some 1/16inch paracord as a back-up. The door wouldn’t close with the supplied hooks, but the paracord worked great.I laid the paracord over the door and tied it to the hardware mounted on the other side of the door.I liked that the pockets were large and mesh, so it folded flatter in my luggage, taking up less space. Likewise, the paracord was easier to pack in than the hooks, and took up less space.

It served it's purpose. I needed something to store my purses and clutches of many sizes so I wasn't sure if this was my brightest idea. Happy to say, it worked out! This has many uses and I'm not a fan of shoe hangers anyway. It works well for storing other things. Assembly is easy, it's light weight and appears sturdy.

Excellent, I loved it. I bought it for my son and the next day I bought one for myself because it is very useful and avoids a lot of shoe riots in your closet, they are very organized 😃
