Great puzzle!
I wonderful smaller size puzzle for geography enthusiasts. Great to train on before moving to the bigger ones in the series. Well thought through and made with great quality. I love that in addition to the image there are also 3D building pieces making it more realistic and interactive. My daughter and I had great time working on this one together.

Mini puzzle AND large puzzle
I bought the mini puzzle first and we enjoyed it, so I bought the larger one. The best part of both is putting in the model buildings at the end. So fun! With the large puzzle, the bottom layer is all variations of brown and took a long time to get together. If you want to do this with kids, I’d suggest doing the bottom layer yourself first. We almost burned out on it. I put on an audiobook and powered through. Which is great, because the foam layer was really fun. We talked a lot about places we’d been in Paris and some of the inaccuracies or distortions in the puzzle - no surprise in a project like this, and something extra to talk about. Overall I do recommend it. Watch out for the cats, they think the foam pieces are great toys.

Great purchase, but....
My son and I put this puzzle together only to find there is a piece missing and a duplicate piece instead. A bit annoying but the puzzle is great.

These 4D puzzle's are a lot of fun for geography lovers
I get hours of enjoyment doing these puzzles. I have New York, Las Vegas, L.A., London and now San Francisco and will probably buy more. They are hard challenging jigsaw puzzles but they are made with the highest quality. very rarely do the wrong pieces fit and if they do the designs don't match. I love adding the little buildings in the order they were built. The First puzzle is hard, the second puzzle is easier and the final puzzle is the easiest. This is a great puzzle for a family with different ages to work on different parts of it.

Daunting project! Quality is great, but too challenging for us!
My grandkids will visit London in a couple of months, and I thought this would be a really interesting project. My 12-year-old granddaughter and I got started. The quality of the puzzle is wonderful but the base layer does not have many distinguishing features and the patterns are very repetitive. Not really teaching much about London. We didn’t get as far as adding the other layers. I thought it would have some landmarks not buildings, but landmarks even in the lower base. More than we bargained for in terms of a challenge!

Not just a picture cut into pieces-- a well-designed puzzle!
I have 4 of these now-- and the 4d part isnt even the best thing about them! The historic version of the city that you do first is a masterfully designed puzzle that is a real joy to put together. Water isnt just blue-- it has gradations and boats added in just the right places. In this one, north banks of the river are drawn differently than the south banks. Different drawing styles are used on similar geographic features so you can tell the difference. There are subtle hints everywhere in the image that make the puzzle an absolute joy to work on. So much different than puzzles that are just an image that at was cut into pieces!!!The only problem is that it will be hard to go back to the other kind of puzzle when we've done all of these. Not paid by anyone to write this. Did not get this puzzle for free. Just a puzzle nerd.

Fun and educational history
I gave this as a Christmas gift to my spouse, who really likes puzzles. She loved it. It took her more than a week to put together (which is a good thing -- she had fun the whole time). The three levels all relate to each other but differ in methods of putting them together, and this made it more interesting -- plus the buildings were VERY interesting to fiddle with and discover. We do not live in London, so I can't comment on the wisdom of including certain things over others (as other reviewers have discussed), but we are going to go there this year and it was a great way to learn about the history and the architecture of the city. The base layer is the most challenging part, as the greatest proportion of the pieces are in that layer. But it was no harder than most 2D puzzles out there. The product we received was the same as the one pictured, and was of high quality construction. I'd recommend this to anyone who it about to visit London!

Yes, educational, but even more unique fun.
Educational but even more fun to build. I’ve already ordered a second one. These would make a great gift for a puzzle fan. Or as a family activity.
