Ravensburger Time for Lunch - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults – Every Piece is Unique, Softclick Technology Means Pieces Fit Together Perfectly

Ravensburger is the best puzzle brand we have found. The quality of their puzzles is always top notch. The pieces fit together nicely, the image is always bright and crisp, and the pieces don't bend or break apart like with some puzzles. All Ravensburger puzzle pieces are blue on the back, which is a nice touch, but sometimes makes it a bit more challenging to pick out blue pieces such as sky. They also come in a nice sturdy box.Another great feature of all Ravensburger puzzles is that they are packaged in a plastic bag (within the box) that is labeled with a batch number that you can use to try to get replacement pieces. We have never had a puzzle from them that was missing any pieces (and we have done around 20-30+ of their puzzles), but if you happen to end up with any missing pieces yourself, you should have the batch number available so you can contact Ravensburger's customer service (through their company website). I suggest that when you open up your puzzle, you write the number from the bag on the inside of your box. This way, you don't have to keep the bag around, and you will always have the appropriate batch number with each puzzle. Their current policy states that they are not always able to replace single pieces, but they will do their best to resolve the situation. Their manufacturing process requires they change the cutting tools every so many puzzles (and this process changes the shapes of the pieces), so my guess is that you will be able to get replacement pieces as long as your puzzle is from the current cutting tools.This particular puzzle is cute with all the signs and little bugs everywhere. The puzzle has a good color balance, and it's relatively easy to put together.

I hadn't put together a puzzle since I was a kid so I was looking for something pretty and not too challenging as a "warm up." This puzzle was perfect for that. This puzzle took me about 6 days to finish, working about 2-3 hours a day. Here's what I liked about it:* Pieces are thick and sturdy.* The pieces were all cut cleanly. No flash and no pieces that I had to cut apart.* The colors are bright and vibrant.* The picture provided a good variety of individual sections (birds, butterflies, etc.) so that no one section was so difficult that it became tedious instead of fun.* The finished puzzle was beautiful. If you like to frame your finished puzzles, this would be a good choice.* No missing pieces!One thing that I've heard other reviewers talk about is the loose fit of the pieces. This puzzle had that same issue, which is why I gave it 4 overall stars instead of 5. The loose fit made it difficult for me to put together smaller sections and then transfer them to the main puzzle. I had to slide a sheet of paper underneath to move them.Also, the colors on the pieces varied a bit from the colors on the box. Most noticeably, the pinks were darker or lighter than depicted on the box. I know this was just a printing issue, but it made it a little more difficult to use color to figure out where pieces were supposed to go.Overall, Ravensburger makes great puzzles and I'll be buying more of this brand.

I purchased this puzzle for my mother, who likes to do puzzles from time to time. My mother was already familiar with the high quality pieces of Ravensburger puzzles based on the 100 and 200 extra large piece puzzles that I've purchased for my 4 year old niece.It quickly became a family puzzle when she started putting it together. Even I got involved for a while. When the puzzle was finally completed, she told me that she enjoyed it because there wasn't a large amount of same-color space and the photo art was colorful and visually appealing.My only issue with this puzzle is that the assembled pieces seemed to be slightly loose compared to the extra large piece puzzles. A very minor issue. You may need a sheet of paper to prevent pre-assembled portions, assembled elsewhere on the table, from falling apart when you transfer them to the main puzzle.This is an excellent puzzle if you don't mind pieces that are slightly loose after assembly, you don't need a "clear blue sky" challenge, and you prefer puzzles with colorful photo art. I highly recommend it.

This is the best puzzle I ever assembled! I bought 2 for holiday gifts, and one of those we completed on the next day, it was just my friend and I and it took about 6 hours.The puzzle is very easy for a 1000 pieces - many distinct features and the colors are very versatile.Lots of fun to put it together. It looks gorgeous, and the quality is remarkable. The Ravensburger company is renown for the best puzzle quality on market, a friend of mine told me.I loved it so much I am close to bying one for myself again, although it is kind of silly to do the same puzzle twice; it is very time consuming anyway, so I probably won't but I would like to have it on my wall. So much so I came here and wrote a review.

Pretty tough puzzle for a 1000 piece since so many greens, flowers and bird/butterfly colors are similar. Plus it is a painting so colors change from one piece to the next fairly quickly. Took about two weeks working an hour or so each night. Pieces are loose fitting as others have mentioned. We may try another brand other than Ravensburger after this next 1500 piece (Neuschawnstein Castle) one. Please let me know if there are other good quality brands out there with a comment. No missing pieces - I have heard others mention this was a problem with Ravensburgers, but this one had them all.

I really enjoyed putting this beautiful puzzle together. It is well made, challenging and fun. I just finished it. Unfortunately (for me) I don't have the sense of accomplishment I should have....because it is missing 12 pieces. Like the unfinished symphony.....I can only imagine what it would have been if complete. I was very careful and don't believe I am responsible for the missing pieces; I don't think they were included in the sealed box. It isn"t usable as a wall hanging or even to donate to a nursing home or care facility. It is worthless to me or others.

This puzzle was nice. Very cute image and was a challenge but not a frustrating impossibility.

This puzzle was moderately difficult which presented a good challenge I didn't expect. The quality of the pieces and colour vibrancy of the finished picture is superb. I'm planning on framing this piece! Next puzzle is Cinque Terre by Ravensburger.

This is a beautiful puzzle, and was a lot of fun to do. Very good quality.

Nice size, pieces are good quality. I hate it when you get flimsy cheap puzzles. This one is good quality! I would recommend it!
