Bare tool equals savings
I have several other Bosch 12 volt tools so the batteries all fit. Bought this as a replacement for an older model and this feels like it has even more torque. The hammer drill features works but does take a bit more time to reach the goal. It is a trade off for not needing to dig out the heavy duty model for just a small hole or two.

Not a Real World Hammer Drill
Purchased this product for its hammer drill capabilities. Unfortunately, this drill is not up to the task. Tried it with a new masonry bit in concrete, mortar and brick. I could not get a hole deeper than 1/2" without bogging the drill and generating excessive heat. Goes to prove the old adage that you get what you pay for. This drill is cheap and inadequate. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Good little tool (for light duty projects)
Great for my work as a residential electrical apprentice.. and for around the house! When I need power I use my dewalt drill and driver but usually they are overkill for fixtures and around-the-house stuff. Tool feels solid and well made. Lightweight and easy on the wrists.. compact size fits right in my mail bags no prob. Used for holes in wood and countersinking ply so far… great for cabinetry projects too. Haven't used the hammer function yet..

Exceeded Expectations
I have been a Dewalt fan for years but wanted some lightweight tools and I leaned on Bosch. I found myself at a job site with only this drill and I had to drill eleven 3/16” 3” deep holes into poured basement walls. After drilling the holes with the hammer setting I then screwed in tapcon screws into each hole. The drill got the job done all with a 2Ah battery

Bad hammer drill
Replaced my Bosch 12v drill with this one with hammer functionality. Drilling is fine, but this is totally inadequate for concrete hammer drilling. I ended up getting a 120v wired Bosch hammer drill which drilled more in 10 seconds than this did in 10 minutes. I'd expected better considering how good the Bosch 12v impact driver is. This one is a rare miss for the Bosch 12v system.
