A little pricy but worth it.
Very pleased with the shipping and the product was well packaged. it had all the items as advertised and since my order I did order a third battery and a hood to go over my iPad Air. I have had several flights and only crashed it once and got a compass error but after searching the internet I learned I needed to do a recalibration of the IMU to fix it and it worked. I crashed it when I was flying a way point flight and I was trying to do some controlling myself and it crashed into a tree but it was only about 8 feet off the ground and the battery and one of the props came off but I but the battery back in and the prop back on and I was still able to fly even with the compass error but did notice it was a little unstable. The camera is great and have posted pics and videos and people comment on the quality and stillness of the shots. Since I am within the 5 mile No-Fly-Zone of Offutt Air Force Base each time I fly at home I have to call the tower but they have not tried to stop me from flying. If they do I understand since I am retired Air Force and know they sometimes have stuff going on. I did run the flight simulator a few times before flying and watch a ton of tutorials on the internet so I was able to fly pretty good even living in a wooded area. Great drone with a ton of features tat will sure help you to fly safer.

You need to watch you tube unboxing videos that will help you get set up.
Once you get all set up it becomes easier to use.

The first few days the video came out shaking. One week later, it became totally blurred. Sent them back for repair, they charged for $862 for replacing the camera. Stay away from this product and their product warranty. They don't stand behind their products.

For this price this is a steal
For this price this is a steal. I use to build DIY drones so let me explain. To get just a camera of this quality you’d be looking at around 700 at least, then for lightbridge (the ability to transmit live HD video) would be around 1000, then sensors about 500. And then to build a drone that would lift all of this, because all of this would not be integrated together, it would weigh a lot more so I would need 680 sized hex-copter (around 500- 1000) to lift it all, and would not get to same battery time or speed the P4P gets. The over thing you get with this is great software. Sure the android version of DJI Go4 has issues for some but I think that’s do to every manufacturer putting there own spin on the same android OS. I’ve used an android LG tablet and now Asus ZenPad without issues. As for the seller. Everything came as advertised and arrive when it was supposed to.

Good drone, but DJI firmware has progressively made it into a doorstop, erratic gimbal
My DJI P4P worked perfectly when I first purchased it. However, "required" firmware updates have since rendered it unreliable. The updated firmware was apparently designed to keep the few irresponsible drone pilots out of restricted air spaces. However, it has also unnecessarily restricted or disabled legal navigation by responsible users to the point of uselessness. Furthermore, ever since the last "update", the camera gimbal on my aircraft has behaved erratically, making fixed-point multiframe panoramas difficult, and in-flight videos sickeningly loopy. When I turn the aircraft, the gimbal rolls severely, instead of maintaining a level view. Also, on boot-up, the gimbal does the normal vertical/horizontal check, but then droops downward to a 30-degree cruising position instead of staying horizontal.I have also become increasingly suspicious of DJI's requirements to do go online to do calibrations. They seem to be collecting my data for more than "improving the drone's performance". Having DJI drones all over the country seems a perfect "voluntary" spy network for the Chinese government, and that is nothing short of cause for concern. If I can imagine them doing it, they are undoubtedly are, same as for the 5G technology they're pushing for phones. I doubt that I shall ever purchase another DJI product as long as they persist in push-loading firmware that unscrupulously dumbs-down their products once we've bought them.

Drone updates are annoying
I bought a Phantom 4 when they first came out.I thought was really cool at first. I was even able to bypass the restrictions the faa tried to dictate, and I needed that advantage as I was often in the mountains where 400ft is nothing.I used it up until approx a year ago when it wouldn't work, failed to link the camera and record until I did an update on the firmware. This was the secon time that unit failed me, as i found it wouldn't work in Germany until i had acces to a computer to do an update.I was so annoyed by it the last time that I haven't used it since. After all why all the updates when everything was working fine?Turns out the updates restrict you further. What I am shopping for is a drone I control, without all the b's restrictions
