Can this strip all three wires from a standard 14ga cable at the same time?

First off, there is no standard 14ga cable. Fpr NM cable (nonmetallic) there is 14/2, and 14/3 wire which normally come with a bare ground wire. There also is 14/2, and 14/3 BX cable (metal cable) with either a bare ground wire or a green for ground wire. Amd no, it can not strip more than one wire at a time. You would need to remove the plastic or metal first, then strip each wire individually.

How well does it strip 12 gauge or thicker wires?

Quite well. I got mine last summer while working on a boat restoration. Most of the wiring is 16 thru 10 gauge and it worked great. Don't think it will work on 4 or 6 gauge. For most wiring, you won't know how you lived without it!

How well does the red wire hold it's position? Does it slip out of position when you push the wire against it?

Not sure what the Red wire means? I introduce one wire to be stripped at a time. If dual wire, I strip back the outer cover freeing the conductors to be fed in one wire at a time. Works great for my purposes. Feed wire into stripper until it stops. Then squeeze handles and pull out perfectly stripped wire, e.g., about 1/4" of wire end is fully exposed to insert into whatever............
