I purchased these for my son who was going snow tubing with his girlfriend. He usually wears jeans, but I thought these would be perfect and the excuse was his 34th birthday. He, of course, doesn't like me buying clothes for him anymore. He wasn't happy, getting them, but he put them on and didn't take them off all week-end, 3 days to be exact. I guess he likes them. He told me they were warm and wore well. They seemed to be waterproof as stated in the description. The size was perfect. He is usually a 32 waist and 29 length in regular pants. That's what I bought for him. They did fit perfect and were well made.

Comfortable, well-made pants with a soft, thin, insulating lining, and nicely designed pockets. Unfortunately, the waist sizing is incorrect. I ordered a 32Wx30L, in the "Natural" waist. The 30L inseam length is right on target, but the actual waist size on the pants I received is 36, rather than 32 inches. The seller's guidelines, on the product page, say that the waist measurement should be taken as a maximum, rather than a minimum, implying that the 32W might even be too small for a 32-inch waist. But it's actually much too big. The seller or manufacturer should correct either the sizing, or their sizing guidelines.

These pants are of exceptional quality and a great buy for the price. I'm really impressed. I'm just over 6' and weight 175 with a 36" waist and 32" inseam. I bought the L-size and they fit perfectly. I would rate them as a mid-weight pant and I think will be comfortable in the 15-25 degree range and on the low end of those temps with a bit of wind, it will probably be necessary to wear a light underwear as a base. The fleece in these pants is fairly lightweight. Although I've not worn them in all day rain, they do repel moisture great and perhaps would be fine in heavier rains as well. But in winter, it's mostly the lighter variety and snow that's the concern and they will be great for that.They have deep pockets that appear to be well constructed for wear much like the balance of the pants. And an unexpected plus is they actually have a nice casual look so can be worn in a casual setting. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

I wear them over my jeans in the snow. They do keep me dry and plenty warm. Whether I'm out clearing snow or sledding with the kids. Follow the manufactures sizing charts, don't just order your pants size. Mine were in the middle of a size and I tried both. I liked the fit of the smaller size over my jeans as it was less loose up at the waist. I got shorter legs than i usually do per the sizing they recommended and they fit great.

Updating / re-writing my review - my first impression of these pants wasn't great, they fit loose in the waist and tight in the lower legs. But, after wearing them they have broken in and become super comfortable. Materials seem to be high quality - nice fabrics, smooth zippers. They are also really really warm.

I was excited about the Outdoor Ventures Men’s Fleece-Lined Pants, especially the expandable waist feature, which added comfort and flexibility. Unfortunately, the design didn’t work out for me. The zippered front pockets were too tight and restrictive, which I found inconvenient for daily use.Additionally, the fit around the hips and thighs was tighter than expected, making them uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. Despite the great warmth and thoughtful waist design, I ended up returning them due to these fit issues.They might work better for someone with a slimmer build, but they weren’t the right choice for me.

These pants are very well made and warm just as the seller describes. Hand down top quality product with great value for money.
