Stanley Hardware S828-236 CD8824 Laminated Steel Padlock

I got this to lock up my Pelican 1700 case. When I received the locks I was surprised at how big and beefy they were, these are by far the most robust padlocks I've ever seen. If you're buying these for your Pelican 1700 case, note that the shackles will not fit the steel reinforced holes but they will fit through the regular holes.

These are some very industrial heavy duty locks. I cant imagine someone being able to pick or cut through these without a grinder. I have had them outside on my trailer for about a year now and they are just starting to show a little rust on the shackle.

Let's face it. For normal everyday theft, someone is far more likely to shim a lock than they are to pick it. So when locking up my trailer full of very expensive equipment, I went with these locks. Difficult to cut off, but not impossible. The module with the shroud has much better cutoff protection.Can be picked by a veteran picker easily, but will give novices a tough time. Super thick body, very heavy, and no way a thief will attack these through the body. Ball bearings prevent shimming. And all at a very good price. Great lock and no corrosion yet.

Bought these for a rigid gang box. They are heavy duty and the key is larger than a house key. Really happy I got these.

A great product that I believe to be much more secure than equivalent Master padlocks. I did much research before buying this 2 padlock set and found that it strikes a great balance between security and price. Time will tell how well they hold up to exposure to the outside elements but so far I am quite satisfied.

Seems sturdy and well built. Using for locking a garage for a boat, so the lock will be outdoors. Will update the review if needed after a few months of weather.

The lock is impressive at first glance, has a good set of features for this price range. Not the most difficult lock to pick but will resist physical attacks.

This is great product and the locks are very robust. I am using it outdoors and will report back if there are any issues but so far have no issues. The only little issue is that that you need to properly engage the lock. Some may find that unlike that its harder to engage or unlock because it needs the key to be inserted properly most probably because of the added security features.

these are very sturdy locks, looks amazing and came very quickly.one of the locks didn't open smoothly at first but after a few open/close it opened up with no problem.

Très rubustes et massifs! Ces cadenas en imposent et ne donnent pas envie de s’essayer. Je n’ai rien pour tester la solidité et la capacité à être ouverts (lock picking) mais après avoir vu plusieurs vidéos ils sont dans les meilleurs rapports qualité-prix

After only 10 months of light use, both locks in set had to be cut off my toolbox one week apart from each other. Something broke inside both key slots that prevented both locks from unlocking. Not worth the money if they don’t last a year! Not cheap priced locks either.
