I don’t write too many reviews but felt the need to share this one. This spray is like the holy grail for thin & flat hair! I applied it on towel dried hair and let it air dry. It gave my hair so much volume & texture that no other product has ever done, and I have tried many. I tried it at night and still woke up with volume in my hair. It actually does what it’s indented to do! Try it, you won’t regret it!

I purchased the Rusk thickening spray again last month (Dec. 2025) and it does puff up my thin hair after blow-drying. Unfortunately, this time it did not work; the orange top would not spray. I tried to request another one, but did not receive acknowledgement. So I had to dribble the liquid onto the bristles of my hairbrush before applying. Not the desired effect I hoped for! Since I was leaving for Az, and could not quickly buy it locally, I brought it with me, and then tossed it upon my return.

Love this product! It adds a lot of body to my hair. I will buy it again for sure.

My hair stylist gifted me Rusk Thickr last year and I had been using it frequently, so when I ran out of it I thought I would replace it with this bottle of Rusk as it looked like an upgrade and cost a few dollars more. I have very fine and thinning hair so no product I've ever used really keeps the style all day but I thought Rusk did help. Unfortunately, this new formula leaves my hair greasy and is not really effective long term. Yes, it does help for the first hour or two but as soon as I step out into any kind of humid air my hair immediately goes flat and it's obvious there is not an ounce of thickness. I didn't think it was overpriced since these products cost way more than this product cost for the amount you get, however, this product is NOT a returnable Amazon product so I'll pass it on to a friend who it might work better for.

This product has much so much with providing volume to my fine hair. Very pleased that I purchased it!
