You can never have enough highs in your car system mid range and bass will not give you the best sound without the highs

Only one worked, the other one was being installed and the wire came out so now they both don’t work. Not to mention the wire is so thin that if you try to strip it I promise it will just rip. So…I don’t know even at $8 they might have been better if they didn’t immediately break. UPDATE. These guys care. They saw my review and asked what they can do to help, so I said “ship a new pair and that would work” they did even better, they sent a new pair, sent an apology note, a few stickers and a lanyard for my car keys, 5 stars. Good people. Glad to see a company that still cares. Highly recommend.

* * * 1/24/25 - U P D A T E * * * Not sure what I did, but the other tweeter I thought was not working works now. Makes quite the difference to hear them both in action. Yeah, you do get the tinny sound, but given the price point, that's to be expected. Besides, it's only that way when you put your ear right near the speaker. Since they're in the back, they bring more clarity and stereo separation than the current two-ways I had in the rear. Putting back 1-star since they both work. Overall: 4 out of 5. Price: 6 out of 6. Ease to install: 5 out of 5. (You get several adapters for your needs which helps figure out the best way to install.) Wanted to add tweeters to the back seat of my 2004 Lancer OZ Rally and do so at a decent price point. Found these and installed them only to discover only 1 works. Should have tested and now I know better. Based on other reviews this seems to be par for the course for this product. The one that does work is crisp and high just like a tweeter should sound. I know the speakers start at 5Khz, but I bought a separate crossover to route the lower frequencies to the original 2-way speaker. Three stars for good sound with only 1 functional.

I can't give the product a good rating because it's clearly not designed well and is just a Chinese generic tweeter. The mounts won't even work. The 45 mount requires an adapter that snaps into the back of the tweeters. Well that adapter has to be screwed on to secure. The screw is too small and the head of the screw is way too big for the tweeter to fit over it. I'm going to have to hope I find screws that work or toss these.

Got 2 sets to upgrade flat sounding prosumer Karioke machine. Wow, I really only needed two. These tweeters are very sensitive, I ended up putting a 1uF capacitor in series with them to get crossover at 7kHz and up. This tweeter construction is a very unique voltage step up autotransformer coil that drives a specialized rectangular piezo cartridge attached to the dome. Actual DC resistance was about 9 ohms each and behaved like an 8 ohm dynamic driver with the crossover network. Never been a fan of piezo tweeters of any kind, but these are amazing for the price and has me rethinking what economy priced piezo tweeter can do. One had a lead wire detached and was able to resolder it.

My BMW Z4 had a blown tweeter so I took a chance and ordered this set. Happy to report that they fit perfectly! Good sound too
