We have a few parrot figures for hanging in trees that are light-weight and about 24" in length. We had them in hanging in trees in the garden surrounding our patio a few years ago, but they all fell due to the hangers deteriorating. This year, we are cleaning up the garden around are large two-level patio, and wanted to hang these figures in the trees again. I ordered green because I thought they would blend with the foliage of the trees better. I decided to check Amazon for hanger that would work, since wire would damage the tree branches, and found these hanger. These hanging hooks have a large end that will fit larger branches and a smaller end to hang whatever you want to hang. They are well made and should not deteriorate over time with weather. They are easily strong enough to hold a watered 12"-14" potted plant. The larger hook at one end can easily be bent by hand to make it smaller to better fit smaller branches. The smaller hook at the other end can also be made smaller to make it more secure, but I couldn't bend it by hand. I had to use a vice to bend it. Today, I hung my Hyacinth Macaw figure, and this hook worked perfectly. I did bend the larger end to better fit the branch I used to hang this figure and also bent the smaller end to better hold the figure. I could easily bend the larger end by hand, but had to use a vice, as previously mentioned, to bend the smaller end. I will continue to hang the other parrot figures we have as I find branches to hang them on that I can reach. UPDATE 07/12/24: I hung more of my parrot figures in trees around our patio garden, and added pictures of them. So far, I love these hooks. They hold well even when it's windy, and they won't damage the tree branches. Since I got 2 sets, we will be using some of the to hang bird houses at a height that predators won't get to them. Overall, these hooks work well and should last for many years, and I would recommend them. Although our parrot figures are not heavy, these hooks could easily hold large pots of flowers or decorative plants. UPDATE 10/26/24: I finally finished placing all of the garden figures, stepping stones, and hanging figures and bird houses in our patio garden. I used all 8 of the hooks in the two sets. I very much like that the green color of these hooks blends with the foliage of the trees they are hung in and don't detract from the figures they hold. Since winter is coming in Illinois, I will see in the spring how well they hold up and whether everything on them is still hanging. I will definitely update this review next year. So far, I love them. They are long enough to get onto tree branches without climbing, but not so long that items on them are too low. I hope this review was helpful for you.

We have this holding an ornamental bird house in front of our house in a White Birch tree. It is absolutely lovely, and will hold up in any kind of weather. Get this "S Hook" today, you will pat yourself on the back tomorrow!

Sturdy hooks, work well with 3 different bird feeders

Metal alittle thinner than I would have preferred but they have held up well.

They are big enough to easily hang on a big branch. They are able to hold a heavier bird feeder also

I use these for hanging my solar lanterns in my trees. I like that they are somewhat bendable so that I can make sure that they’re secure, but they’re very, very sturdy and I am very pleased with how they’re holding up to staying secure even when it’s windy.
