Crestwood solid body electric guitars provide great quality at a low price. S-style, available in over 12 colors. Review: Nice looking and sounding but somewhat heavy strat - I mainly purchased this guitar due to it's natural look. For a budget guitar the body looks nice. This is the third Crestwood strat I have purchased.First two had some overspray issues and damage, this one arrived in near perfect condition with minimal overspray on the pickguard.Clearcoat finish is thick but no runs or imperfections.Neck is a medium C shape, with acceptable frets, and no sharp fret ends.Tuners aren't great but do hold tune alright.Sound is better than I expected, other reviews have said they needed to crank up the amp but I have had no issues. This is a pretty heavy guitar,I'm guessing almost a full pound more than most other strats I've had.May just be the one I got,I don't mind it just something to be aware of.Overall a decent strat. Review: The finish of the body was not bad, and it arrived to my home in a ... - Solid hardwood, 3 pieces. I used the body for my 'partscaster' build. No routing or serious modifications needed. had to drill a couple of small holes for my pickguard. The finish of the body was not bad, and it arrived to my home in a well-packaged and undamaged condition. Thanks!
