This part was amazing and replaced a chrome strip that we paid hundreds to have re-chromed. It looks brand new and better than the original!

Molding is great, mounting tape substandard
The appearance of the trim molding is great but the mounting tape is substandard. I recommend replacing the tape with a quality 3M tape.

Adhesive tape is dried and not stick on any surface at all,
The adhesive tape doesnโt work at all . I am very disappointed.

Good Price Point but Disappointing Adhesive Quality
I recently purchased this 12-Foot Chrome Automotive Trim Molding for my car, drawn by its promising features and affordable price. While the molding itself looks great and rejuvenates the looks of my 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis, but there are some significant issues with the product. Price Point: The price is certainly attractive, making it an economical choice for anyone looking to replace their vehicles' factory chrome moldings without breaking the bank. However, the product is let down by one major flaw: Adhesive Tape Quality: The adhesive tape provided on the molding is extremely poor. The molding keeps coming off! The adhesive is simply not strong enough to hold the trim in place, leading to constant reapplication and frustration. This severely undermines the overall usability and reliability of the product. In summary, while the 12-Foot Chrome Automotive Trim Molding is appealing in terms of price and appearance, the inadequate adhesive tape makes it a disappointing purchase. Unless you are willing to invest in a better adhesive solution separately, this product may not meet your expectations.
