Does what you need them to do
I bought these so that I had a weather proof way to power cycle a small IOT radio without having break open the case or add a physical switch. They do exactly what I need them to do and the included magnets were powerful enough to activate the switch through an ASA 3d printed case.

Normally Closed Magnetic Reed Switch and Magnets
Just Great Normally Closed Reed Switches LIKES: 1. EXCELLENT Product Function which is well described within the product description 2. Magnets INCLUDED which play a big roll with the reed switches operation 3. Solders Well DISLIKES: No dislikes currently

STOPS working quickly. TRASH. Don't buy!
These are the worst product I ever spent my money on. I bought this for a project for a led light to turn on and off. You are better off using the normally open ones for better longevity without activating the magnetic function constantly. The distance that a magnetic needs to be near the sensor is so inconsistent. It cannot be touching it, sometimes it works in one direction and next time it works in another. When you decide it is working and mount it, it then refuses to shut off or activate. AFTER positioning this constantly the magnet just breaks the internal switch and it get stuck in one position. These are trash and purely cheap hobby toys. I gave up after trying two of them, ate the loss as I didn't want to return two bent switches of the batch and have them ship this garbage to another person. No way can these be reliable for permanent applications. Definitely should of listened to the bad reviews and saved my money.

Very nice reed switches for projects
I got inspired by magnetic switches after seeing how they work in escape rooms, and so wanted to buy some to try in small scaled projects. If you like to create puzzles that involve magnets to activate things, these would come very handy.

Work, but not for my circuit
These are very small reed switches - 1/2" x 1/8" x 1/8". They are normally closed (Form B) SPST reed relays which use a biasing magnet to keep them in the closed position. That is what the review written in French is pointing out. The more powerful magnet supplied in the kit overcomes the biased magnet field and opens the contact when it is near. The little bump in the relay body is the biasing magnet and is installed on the side away from the actuating magnet. The actuating magnet has to be oriented properly N-S so the switch actuates. You'll figure it out by hooking up your ohmmeter and positioning the components while looking for actuation. The switches function properly with a variety of magnets including the ones included in the kit. The problem I ran into is the actuating area. The magnet does have to be extremely close vertically (or touching) to work. The horizontal positioning tolerance over the relay is very tight. The tiniest variation in horizontal positioning cause there to be no actuation. Using a larger magnet does not help. In my application the tolerance of the fit was too much for dependable operation so I ended up going with a NC pushbutton switch. If you can control your positional tolerances these should work.

As described but not great quality control.
I needed 12 so I bought two packs, it's a good job that I did since four of the switches do not function correctly.

They technically work but not very well.
These technically work, but no like others have said, the tolerance is abysmal. When on the test bench and the electronics are accessible I can easily use a magnet to open the circuit, but in application it is very difficult to find the spot to get a reliable open circuit. Making these particular useless. I am not sure if it is because the biasing magnet is too strong or if the magnet that it comes with is getting more magnetized by use of other magnets to open the circuit. I believe the later is happening. Because after several days in the open position, with the stronger magnet keeping the circuit open it seems to fail even though the device I am using this with has not been touched. Because it is so intermittent I cannot use this.

NC-Reedschalter

Wicked cool!!!
To be honest I didn't think these little things would do much but they made my project next level cool!!! They worked well even after being baked in polymer clay so they are tough little switches!
