good fit. Debated med. or large, medium are perfect snug fit. I would normally order large.
Provide a safety margin for cuts.

Tig Welding
These are great for tig welding. Wouldn't recommend them for any other welding process because the sparks will damage the glove unless you use them how I do. The way I found them to work really well is to wear one under the glove of my torch hand. They work especially well for free hand so you can prop against the pipe or whatever material with a finger. I used to have to use my pinky finger to give me as much distance away from puddle so it didn't get hot as fast. I can wear this under the weld glove and literally prop with my middle finger and transition to ring without getting burned. In return I have more control than my pinky and the finished result looks better. I used to rely on a tig finger or gas lens cup which definitely works but is such a hassle and slippery compared to this method. The negatives I would list is that trying to use this glove with filler wire hand is too grippy so stick to normal glove and also trying to take welding glove off takes longer because grippers. Small price to pay for more control. I bought another brand without grippers but the kevlar threading is ripping apart much faster so I am sticking with these. Yeah buddy!

Good gloves, large sizing
The medium size of these comfortably fit my average man hands. I normally wear a large size glove in rubber dish gloves or work gloves, and this medium pair fits me well. Any larger would definitely be too big. Middle finger of the glove is 3 3/8" long, palm is 4 1/2" wide (flat on a desk, not worn). 7 1/2" wrist cuff to tip of middle finger. They are labeled as and appear to be 100% Kevlar, which makes them a good deal. A quick test with a pocket knife trying to pull up and cut a few threads says to me it's real Kevlar and they should work well at resisting abrasion. I think the double sided grip beads are great, makes them universal for either hand.

Must-have tool for all carvers
Very deceptive - they feel like wool but are surprisingly strong and protective, it takes a great deal of effort to cut these. Slips with the knife will still cause a bit of pain, but are unable to slice the skin - absolute must-have for all carvers.

Super price for quality safety item
I use a rotary cutter for sewing and quilting. I saw a similar product used on a tv quilting program as a way to help prevent hand cuts from rotary cutters. This item was a pair of gloves (each glove will fit either right or left hands). I researched other specialty gloves designed for use with rotary cutters, and they were generally a much more expensive price for only one glove. The glove goes onto your non-cutting hand which is holding the fabric and/or ruler...and is therefore potentially directly in line with the blade. I keep my glove with my cutting mat, rotary cutter, and case as a reminder to use it. The glove is a bit large and has a floppy fit (there wasn't any sizing guidelines when I purchased). However, since it isn't form fitting, my hand doesn't get sweaty using it even for extended cutting sessions. This glove could be used for other projects around the home or work place (cutting or handling glass or metal with sharp edges for example). I have not washed it yet, but the pair I received said machine washable. The glove is not suitable for using with fine motor skill tasks, such as picking up pins and needles. However, works fine on sewing/crafting tasks such as aligning your cutting ruler with the fabric. I wish the seller would offer a greater variety of sizes (with size guidelines). But still a great price for an important safety item.
