This kit enabled me to salvage an expensive fleece and a puffy vest, both with broken zipper pulls. The directions recommended pulling or prying off the top zipper guards, which I couldn’t manage to do with pliers, so I just made a little snip between the top teeth with my scissors and then sewed them shut when I was done. There are a limited number of zipper pulls in the kit, so I had to use a black one rather than silver on my fleece, but it was much cheaper than replacement cost or the $45 I was quoted by a seamstress to replace the entire zipper.

This zipper repair kit worked perfectly, but I wish there were more stoppers included - enough to match the amount of zipper provided (i.e. two per zipper head) would have made the most sense. Even so, I bought it to repair a defective zipper head on a brand-new pair of jeans (bought on clearance, not worth return/replacement hassle) that would just slide down on its own, and it did the trick!

Great kit. I was able to easily replace my zipper that broke the other day and replace a zipper on my husband's hoodie that broke off last year. I had a bit of a issue taking the stoppers off the jacket and putting the one on my husband's thicker hoodie, but that just took some time and patience to get through. I'd say I easily changed both zippers in 10 minutes each. This being my first time, I feel I could replace a zipper faster next time. You only have to remove the stopper at the top of a jacket or hoodie that doesn't have have a double zip on it. Put the correct size zipper on. Then put on a new stopper. Then you have a brand new working zipper. The zipper a great quality metal material. I didn't worry they would break at all. The zippers fit perfectly onto the zippers as well. This kit is super easy to use, and this is coming from a person who has anxiety and worries about everything. You won't regret grabbing this set.

I have a Camber heavy duty sweatshirt about 10 years old. The zipper wasn't working properly by not zipping the 2 sides together. I ordered the Zipper rescue kit in 5 minutes the zipper is working like new plus there were two sliders in the size I needed so I will have an extra if ever needed. Plus a put a little silicone on the zipper and now it works smoother then ever. Don't throw something out because of the zipper (unless the zipper is damaged) just replace the worn slider which is usually the case.

I really liked this kit and would recommend. I thought the instructions were very well-written and, even though the 'repair' element didn't come until the end, understanding the workings of the zipper and which type you're dealing with was important for the job. The zipper pull was damaged on my mom's husband's beloved 20 year old coat and for some reason the local cleaning/repair shop wouldn't tackle it for him. I ordered this kit and fixed it for him as a Christmas treat. I found it extremely simple to accomplish. The instructions had plenty of photos and a thorough read through really helped. I admit to being a tad unclear about the 'top stops' as the original broke (expectedly) when I removed it, and the new stop didn't clamp as well as I'd have liked...moving around just a tad. I will stitch above it to reinforce. I did get the sense from the instructions that there are some general 'zipper facts' and if you can get the gist, you can rig pretty much anything, so long as the zipper teeth aren't broken. The reason for the slightly lower rating is that the kit is lacking all of its promised contents. The enclosed list sites 22 pieces and yet my kit came with only 16. (My photo shows only 14 pieces, as I've already repaired an item, using a slider and a stop. I think more stops would have been warranted, in case of trial and error, or if one is lost. They're quite small. In any case, many pieces were missing. Not worth haggling over, as I got the job done and that alone was worth the cost of the kit, but I'm sorry the seller was't more cautious about that. Would still recommmend and am pleased with the result. Didn't use the hotline but I get the impression the manufacturer is available to help.

This was not as easy to install as the video shows, but with a little bit of Determination, I was able to get the replacement zipper installed, and the new stop at the top of the teeth pressed into place. It was a great replacement and it works like a champ. The secret, of course, is making sure you’re using the right zipper head, but this kit comes with a variety for you to use. For us, it was a goodbye and worked as advertised.

We used this product to repair a broken zipper on a lounge whereby the backrest is connected to the frame via a zipper just allowing rotations and ensure correct posture as the backrest never moves. This worked a treat and would highly recommend

Fabulous! It took me less than a minute to fix the zipper head on my favourite winter jacket. Luckily, I kept the broken pieces so I could match the size without measuring anything. It was so quick!

I note lots of people have complained that there are no instructions. If you youtube the company there are excellent videos to offer instructions that I found much easier than reading. I fixed a favourite coat with this saving approximately £20 in the dry cleaners and feel confident that I can now fix any zip with the spares. The pullers are quality...it's not worth buying the cheaper options available.

Pretty much what you'd expect, a box of various sized zips to replace broken items. However, what's not immediately clear is that not only are there different size zips, but there are different widths to the zips as well. I bought this to replace the broken zipper in my wife's favourite (and quite expensive) coat. The first large zipper I tried wouldn't go onto the zip...it was too narrow. Looked in the pack and sure enough, there was another large zipper in there that was quite a bit wider. Tried that, and it fitted perfectly....coat fully repaired!! Perfect !!
