iPad Pro 9.7 Case, Anker [Ultra-Slim] Premium Folio Case for 9.7-inch iPad Pro — Smart Cover with Auto Sleep/Wake Function (Black)

I had bought other Anker products and was happy with them, so I was disappointed that this one did not live up to expectations. Nothing wrong with the workmanship or materials, but the ergonomics just aren't good. Most problematically, when I hold the iPad in landscape mode (which is pretty much how I always hold it), there is no traction on the bottom of the case, such that the iPad keeps slipping or falling down. So, while there are many viewing angles in theory, there are really only one or two positions that hold traction for any length of time, and they eventually fall down. The other main problem is that the edge of the case overhangs the volume buttons, such that it is very difficult to adjust the volume. Finally, while the product is advertised as having auto sleep / wake, that function has never worked, at least not for me. While I did not return this case, it has since been replaced for everyday use by another one, which at least holds the iPad in place.

I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation, and I promise that my review is fair and honest.I love the finish on this cover, it has the rugged feel of an expensive well bound book on the outside with a slightly softer feeling inner. The cradle for the iPad is a very sturdy but soft to the touch plastic and the fit is excellent; very firm fit giving confidence that nothing is going to drop out should you drop your device; there's a nice lip to the fit once the iPad is in place.Installation was easy, just some firm pressure to pop the iPad in. All the cut-outs are just where you'd expect them to be, nice precise fit.There is a an optimum position when using the cover to stand you iPad up in the landscape position, at too shallow and angle there is the potential for slip but I suspect this may improve with use as the edge in contact loosens up a bit; that said, the optimum angle is just that so shouldn't be a cause for concern.I've not had the cover for long but consistent usage does not seem to be an issue where finger prints and wear is concerned; it doesn't have the sort of finish that is affected by finger grease. Time will tell but so far so good; you'll no doubt spend more time wiping the screen that you will the cover...unless you let your kids use it of course; then no cover is safe from little sticky fingers.Overall a very nice pleasing cover for your expensive Apple tablet.

Fits the iPad Pro perfectly. Has openings for all speakers and buttons & a nice slim form factor. My only complaint, and why I could not give 5 stars, is that there's really no way to use it as a (steady) stand. There's really no way to make it stand hands-free in landscape mode. It either is too high at a terrible angle or the iPad slides and falls.Overall, the case has a great look and feel, I just wish it was designed better for hands free landscape viewing. I would have given 5 stars if it stood properly in landscape.Still, for the price, you just can't beat it.

Nearly perfect, but not quite. The plastic holder is not flexible enough to take the iPad in and out of the case. Mine snapped the second time I took it out. If you plan on leaving it in the case it's greatEDIT:After writing my negative review a received an email from Anker, who offered to send me a replacement. This new one is perfect in every way. It turns out my first one had a slight deformity in the plastic. So, in addition to great quality and value you can add great service to the list for Anker. Thanks!

Great lite weight case for ipad pro 9.7 but it is going to be replaced with smart keyboard

Awesome case, awesome price. It's just what you should be looking for: svelte, professional, functional, practical. Great quality. Exterior has sort of a grainy nylon appearance. Magnet works great for auto on/off. Solid case.

Generally ok but I find it restricts access to the volume and power button. It's still possibly to press them but it's just more of a fiddle than it needs to be. Also, there's not enough friction to stop the tablet sliding down when it's propped up and sitting on the felt. You have to position it very carefully to prevent it slipping.Update - May 2017: Anker support contacted me to apologise for the problems with the case. I would have been satisfied with that alone but they went further and offered me a goodwill gesture. I am very impressed with their customer service and will continue to purchase their products as, apart from the minor issues with the iPad case, I have always found their products to be excellent.

I have quite a few Anker products all of them are A1 great buys, fantastic company.Now this iPad case is a bit of a let down, it looks and feels good but it doesn't fit properly, let me explain around the edges of the case the iPad does not sit flush the iPad seems too deep for the case and therefore the fit does not look good. You should have a bit of a lip around the edges of the case but not on this one.Overall disappointing such a shame as I really do love Anker productsBut not this one please Anker can you sort this out with the next case you makeIf this did fit well the case would be better than Apple own make 😩

Great product, veto stylish and the materials feel rugged, durable but stylish. It fits very well and protects all the corners, edges etc with a good lip for the screen in case the iPad lands butter side down when it's dropped.When using the stand i found it "slips" far too easy, it seems only a certain angle is sturdy and you have to be careful if you move in bed or it will slip. I guess that - whilst being nicely textured - there isn't enough friction there to prevent a slip.Overall well made and feels great value, it's definitely a step above the more generic cases I've used and (being an Anker product) feels unique and "designed" but still a few things to iron out that I can't believed nobody picked up on during testing.

OK case, whilst there is a cut out in the back of the case there is no camera cut out on the bit which folds over which is really annoying as to take photos you have to hold the case half open. Not a very thoughtful designUPDATEAnker saw this review and have refunded the case and promised to have a look at the design. The design is still not great but the way they handled the problem was above and beyond

Yet another fantastic quality product. I now actively seek out Anker products for their design and quality. This iPad case (iPad pro 9.7) is durable, perfect fit, premium quality, sleek design (I'm not a fan of these 'executive leather' folio type cases), and above all very very good value for money. It comes simply but well packaged (no bloated magneticised box with bits of ribbon....Logitech) and super fast delivery thanks to Prime.
