How is this chocolate different from the old caco and the new creamy chocolate?

I've only tried the cacao version and can only speak to the taste, namely that this Chocolate version tastes more like a traditional meal replacement shake. It's a bit chalky and not as appealing as the cacao version.

Based on product description and photos How does it give you both energy and calm? I was interested at the energy part.

It definitely gives me more energy and wakefulness. I react differently to caffeine types - coffee, black tea, colas. As long as I am not already amped on coffee, one drink gives me great energy to keep going and be focused through the afternoon. So far I haven't gotten jittery like I would if I had had a double latte, but instead just get more focused. I don't use as a replacement for my morning coffee.
