The next big thing in skin care
You have to know what this is before jumping in. I did but had still never done it or gotten one, and I find that whisking it is the only way to mix it right; not with a spatula, or a with a fork or spoon. I don't think it matters temperature of water as long as it's not too hot, just make sure to steam first or you can microwave some water in a bowl for 30 sec and put the towel on your face (if not too hot!!!) and then use the rest of the water for the mix. Add equal parts water and powder, I find its best to use the whole package for one mask or else I have to end up making more, but if you're experienced you will have a better time. Wait a couple minutes and then use a face spatula or fingers or w/e and paste it on your face, you can even put it on your eyes and mouth but I haven't done that completely yet. Just make sure it's AT LEAST like runny honey, it may run at first but it should leave residue- scoop/pat that stuff up every couple strokes to keep the application kinda even. Make sure there are no holes and then lie down or position in some way where your face is flattish (you can use a pillow, don't hurt yourself). As it dries, I have experienced some minor holes, maybe because it was too thin? But it's super easy to just use your fingers and mush it back together. Leave it on for like an hour, or two, or just 30 min. Some people say put a serum on first, to lock in the treatment with the mask; some experience a bad reaction, potentially mixing incompatible ingredients. So just aim for what you know, this mask is an amazing experience just the way it is. It's tricky and SUPER MESSY (only deduction) but when I took it off my jaw literally dropped. I never believe reviewers when I read that but I swear it. Of course, the effects were gone by the next day, but I've only done it successfully twice. If it's going on clumpy, it is not going to be even close to the same result, you need to whisk that baby. Hope this helps.

This is not exactly what I was expecting. I ...
This is not exactly what I was expecting. I had seen "modeling rubber mask" videos where the mask becomes rubbery when dry and peels right off. This is not that. I could not tell the difference between this and your typical clay mask. It dries hard and chips and breaks into a million little pieces when you try to remove it. The only difference I could tell was that my skin was soft when I finally got it off, but I was not really impressed.

Extremely messy and flaky
This is not what it advertises to be. It was EXTREMELY messy and flaky and only party came off somewhat smoothly. The parts that did come off somewhat like a modeling mask felt like a wet crepe. Would not recommend and will not be purchasing.

VERY difficult to get off; NOT a RUBBER mask.
I was looking for something similar to the product used at the Asian facial places I frequent. This isn't it. The name is a little deceptive - calling it a "rubber" mask, I expected it to come off in mostly one piece, like a rubber mask would. This was terribly difficult to get off. LOTS of tiny little chips/pieces that i had to scrape off with my fingernails. This, of course, left my skin red and irritated - completely the opposite result I was looking for.Since I have several left, I will try to change the ratio of water or try something different. I did see that at least another reviewer had this same problem. I would try a different mask.

As a licensed Skincare professional these are great mask.
As a licensed Skincare professional these are great mask.. excellent quality! For those of you who are having trouble applying it.. well they are not meant to be applied to your self.. you are supposed to lay flat when applied so it goes on smooth, also you should use distilled water when mixing, I eye ball the amount of water till it becomes a creamy paste . not too thick.. not too watery. Remove mask after 10-15 min once it becomes a rubber like consistently on the face.. if it doesn't come off all at once that's fine.. takes practice to get off in one fell swoop. If some of the edges harden just use a warm damp cloth to remove the rest.Hope this helps!

Not the best product if lazy is word you use to describe ...
I have only used one so far due to it kinda being a pain in the butt. Not the best product if lazy is word you use to describe yourself with sometimes. Mixing it was messy and there was product left over but I’m not sure if there would have been enough for another application. I get bothered when I feel like I’m wasting something. Other than that it was okay!

Love it!!!!
I love this mask! I was worried by the other reviews but its exactly how I expected a modeling mask to be. It will still feel wet on your face when you peel it off, if yoy wait until it feels dry it feels more like you are chipping off dried mud or plaster. The mask itself is nice and cool. I used a 1:1 mask and water ratio (its usually a honey or yogurt consistancy) and it turns out great every time
