I'm an artist, and writer. I can say with certianty this is the best mechanical pencil anybody can have for a cheap price. It feels like a pen, a tiny amount of spring feeling is present if your really trying to feel it. Lead doesn't break if used properly. Only thing I wished for was a version that's replace all the plastic with aluminium.

It is, or at least was a pretty good pencil. The primary knock I had on it is that it does NOT retract like they claim, but rather there's a "shock absorber" in the tip (which IMO is also a mandatory feature in a mechanical pencil). As the puppy managed to chew & destroy it, I opted for a different pencil as a replacement (which does retract as well as have a shock absorber).

Works pretty well. I got it because I was tired of losing the cheap mechanical pencils all the time. It is comfortable and in general pretty neat. It does work to protect the lead in axial loading (along the length of the pencil, as the mechanism is designed to). However, it does not protect against bending of the lead, so it will snap if you hold the pencil at an angle at apply enough pressure. It doesn't make the lead unbreakable, but does protect it from to much pressure placed straight down.

I absolutely love this pencil, just don't use the eraser because it's not very good. if you do i recommend getting extra erasers. the pen itself is very fancy and it stops led from breaking but to make sure you don't break the led what you do is push the led back into the pencil by pressing+holding the eraser on top push in the led, then click the top 3-4 times any more than that the led is vulnerable to break.

The mechanism works great, and the pencil is nice to use. Additionally, the price is pretty good for a mechanical pencil and the shipping was free for me. I will definitely buy more in the future. PS There are other products made by the same company, Zebra, that are also really good

I like the lead breakage system, Looks good 👍. But if you use normal 10 ₹ lead it would break. So, when you were buying this mechanical pencil make sure to buy a seperate lead with it. Eg- pentel, uniball, pliot etc.

Very nice price and when I press very hard it doesn’t break, but if you press really hard with a long tip it will break of course.

Well worth the money, this mechanical pencil is better value than the more sophisticated Lx (P-MA86-BL) sibling. This model is currently £8 cheaper( March 2023) and just as effective. It has become a useful addition to my 'Every Day Carry'. Made of plastic, my only concern is the plastic clip could easily break.
