My kids are having a great time with this drone! First of all this is the first lower priced drone we've tried that ACTUALLY works properly. The altitude hold and landing systems really work well. We had a few other drones last year and they would regularly take off into walls, fly away into the trees and one time just fly away never to be seen. This drone had none of those issues.This drone looks almost identical to another brand we have, but there's no comparison. This one performs perfect every time we fly it, the other one can't be trusted outside the house. Make sure the one you get is marked correctly, I don't want to mention the other brand but the DB one is great.They include 2 batteries which is perfect, we've been getting 8-10 minutes per charge and with 2 kids it's 10 minutes each which has worked well so far. If they ever offer higher capacity batteries I'll order a set of those as well.The live preview is crystal clear, I set preview to 480p resolution. The drone camera is actually 720p and it records to the SD card and then you can transfer to the phone you're using. No need to mess with the SD card when it's able to transfer directly to their phone. I haven't tested the range, but for what the kids are doing it works great so far. It can go really high straight up, just be cautious on breezy days.All in all, it's a fantastic drone for the money. I need to get some for my nephews this Christmas. They have the R/C bug now.

Understanding I only paid 80 bucks for this unit:This is my 3rd drone for "Beginners". Not really a strong suit for this drone. Not sure if its the connection to the unit, but the controls are either very loose and it flies wherever it wants, or it flies tight and barely moves when using the joysticks.Trimming features are pretty much useless - they do not change the flying patterns or controls as needed. The max flight time on the included batteries has been about 2-3 minutes.On the plus side, it has lots of different beeps and sounds for various warnings!I would recommend looking for a drone in a little higher price range.

The media could not be loaded.  This drone is great for someone looking to learn how to fly one. The altitude hold feature works great. Being able to change out the batteries is also great. Although a battery only gives you about 8 minutes of flying time you can have multiple batteries charged and they dont cost much at all. Changing the battery only takes about a minute. Very easy to do. The video quality is great. The only thing to really keep in mind is that this drone is very light. If winds are more than 10mph you will have a littlw difficulty keeping it steady. All in all this is a great product and alot of fun.

Perfect for beginners, very crash proof. However, the camera stopped working after just one hour. DP Power refunded my money and let me keep the drone. I removed the camera, which really was a toy anyway, and used it as a trainer, for which it is very well suited. I must have crashed dozens of times with no damage other than scratches on the guards.Still, there are plenty of trainer drones without cameras for half the price.

Bought this drone for my 10 yr old for his birthday. He LOVES it! Unfortunately, he let his brother try to fly it and he crashed it into a tree. After this, one propellor didn’t work. I did a live chat with the Drocon company, sent her a video, and they are now sending us a new drone. Super customer service and great drone for kids 10 and up, I’d say.

The function that reverses the controls would randomly activate, making the drone impossible to control. Sent it back. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

It’s a good starting drone. Only complaint is that the trim settings on the controller never seem to stay, meaning I have to redo the trim every time I turn the thing on or off. Other than that, it’s a decent drone to start out with.

1st one had a motor freeze on me within a day of normal use. I opted for an exchange since the tech support people kept hanging up on me. 2nd drone worked great for a week and the same engine froze up on the 2nd drone.
