Indispensable For A Serious Skier
This is - by far - the best diamond stone for tuning skis without using a file. In the East, I normally tune my skis after skiing on hardpack snow regularly. These diamond stones not only work great, they also far outlast any other diamond stones I have tried. An expert in ski tuning recommended these Moonflex diamond stones to me. Great recommendation.

Best Diamond Stones for Sharpening Ski Edges
I have tried several different types of diamond stones but the Diaface Moonflex stones outperform them all. They cost more than the others but are worth the price. They last longer and create a nice sharp polished edge. Clean them after sharpening each edge and do not over use and they will last longer. Typically 5 - 8 passes with each grit is all that is required. Keep them well lubricated with a polishing solution during use.
