Is this compatable with "Thomas" type wooden tracks?

We have Thomas compatible tracks and they fit perfectly on them.

Has anyone tried these with the ikea train track? do these cars fit?

These were purchased for a PreK-4 classroom. We use them with this Amazon town carpet: IVI Thick 3D Childrens Play Mat & Rug in A Colorful Town Design for Kids with Soccer Field, Car Park & Roads, Blue, 32 x 45 inches I do not know if these work on a train track.

Are they dishwasher safe?

I don’t think so only bc I believe the paint would begin to fade and it might compromise the wood. But they are easy to wipe with a dishcloth and water or a disinfectant wipe. My 20 month old grandson loves these. I purchased 2 different types of vehicles.
