A-Premium Belt Tensioner Assembly with Pulley Compatible with Honda, Acura

Works fine on my 05 CRV, was debating if I should go with OEM tensioner but for a car that is over 20 years old, I just don't know when I will get rid of it, this was in the right price range and A-Permium is a big company, so, I decide it to give it a shot, Glad I did, perfect fit and its been few months and no issue at all.

This part is absolutely terrible. Both the head of the provided bolt and the nut will strip out. I spent over an hour unable to install the belt properly because the bolt just kept spinning; I finally had to replace them with the old center bolt and nut just to be able to move the tensioner! And it succeeded on the very first try. So, if you buy this product and attempt to install the belt, you had better replace the center bolt so that it can actually withstand the force of the tensioner. If you do not swap in the old bolt and nut, you will simply not be able to install the belt, and the bolt will strip out—which will become a massive problem. Simply put, the quality of this product is exceptionally poor. It is already installed and I refuse to take it all apart again, otherwise I would absolutely return it. Buy with extreme caution.

Excellent replacement, works really well and solved my problem.

Looks good, the pulley is designed a little differently than whatever I had on my 04'CRV. The mounting bolt on the pulley is a 14mm, again my Chinese aftermarket one had a 15mm for whatever reason. Will update if it fails prematurely, PITA to change it in a 2nd Gen crv. Pay someone to slave away.

This Tensioner is a very poor quality part. It has only been installed in the vehicle for five weeks and is already rattling louder than the original OE component that lasted 170,000km on a 2006 Honda CRV. Now I'll need to repeat the changeover process again, but this time will purchase a quality component and not this inferior quality rubbish of a part.

It fits really well on my honda crv 2009. No more weird noise.

I replaced my original tensioner with this one because my belt kept slipping off. This one has great tension (I actually had to force it quite aggressively to put the belt back on, but now my belt holds into place securely). I have used A-premium parts for the past 3 years and never had an issue with them. This one is no exception.
