We've got three little boys, ages 8, 5 & 3, who love the hockey, soccer, football & baseball guys. For little ones who like "guys", these toys really encourage imaginative play... for us, preferred over video games or movies... very fun to watch. The main reason I'm providing a review is to detail how I was able to 'fix' the only problem we've had with the 'guy' series... Inevitably, one or more of the guys will show up unable to stand up, either because his base is 'warped' or he's bent at an angle that won't allow him to stay upright. This also works for guys who are holding bent bats, hockey sticks, etc... Heat a pot of water to just about boiling. Immerse the portion of the 'warped' guy in the hot water for about 30 seconds. Stand the guy up in the sink on a plate or some other flat surface and hold him up in the preferred position. Run cold water over the guy for about 15 sec. Once you've run the cold water over the guy, this effectively 'resets' the position of the guy. If you haven't got the guy 'just right', you can do it over. There shouldn't be a problem with repeated temperature excursions. Some pointers; Standard warnings about working with hot liquids... should only be done by an adult or supervised. Be careful! Don't immerse your hand in the hot water. Don't immerse the whole guy, just the part you're trying to fix. If you need to fix the base as well as a bat or other spot, do them separately. This is so great and well worth the money! I set it up on a table and used the players for cupcake toppers for my 9year old grandson’s birthday party.

I never write reviews but I felt the need to give this toy a shoutout because now that my boys are both soccer obsessed, it's hard to get them to do anything else. This is one toy they will play with, creatively, making up game stories, re-enacting World Cup games, and generally playing independently or together. Simple concept, lots of ways to play. I wish I could find more toys like it because on rainy days when they can't play soccer outside and I don't want them playing FIFA mobile or other video games, this is a great option. Biggest downside is the creases in the field - it stores better rolled up.

I bought this for my 5 year old nephew and he loves it. It's great for imaginative play and encourages him to play out the strategies he's learning in his soccer league. It's great that it comes with a carrying case so that the kid can easily pack it away or take with. My only complaint is that it comes with a single soccer ball, which can easily be lost or misplaced. Within 10 minutes of opening this my nephew lost the ball under the sofa. It was quickly recovered, but I can see how easily this important piece can be lost by a child so offering a second ball as a back up would have been sensible of the makers of this toy.

So the package does say that a mini soccer ball is included but then when you open it up and read the instructions it states “soccer guys does not include a loose ball!” My boys were highly disappointed! Luckily we had something else we used in place. Other than that little hiccup, they are really enjoying playing and making different soccer plays!

I am an adult and collect toys. This set is one of the very best I’ve ever seen. These figures are larger than expected which is very nice if you are purchasing for children... excellent set!!! Comes with a playmat and 2 very great goals, the ball is also nice. Has a perfect storage box for everything... seriously just buy it, and the shipping was fast and the vendor is excellent

This is a really basic toy that kids love. It reminds me of the old army men I played with as a kid. This one is a bit larger and comes with a field but it's the same idea. You've got two teams of players in different poses and a ball. Put that and a few kids on the and it's hours of fun. They play and play and play. The toys are robust and easy to clean. Simply, easy and fun! Can't beat it!

super nice gift , if you like sports. Grandson is 5 years old, just loves these guys, plays for hours. nice surprise when received soccer players, they have numbers on their shirts. I ordered football players and hockey players too, just wished they would have numbers painted on their shirts also. great product.
