Imagine getting the BEST menstrual cup for $10!!
This cup is awesome! Correction. These TWO CUPS are awesome! Yes, for only $10, I got two cups. That's insane. Firstly, I want to say that I was a big Diva Cup fan. That thing was comfortable (never felt it), easy to insert and remove -- after the learning curve -- and came with a cute little bag for it.After I had kids, I tossed my Diva Cup, as it was old, and went with the Luna cup. I hated it! I felt it, even after that initial period after inserting it, and it just never got any more comfortable or easy to use. The long stem also meant I would pinch myself every time I had to take it out. It is not entirely something you can just return, so the thought of having to buy another cup that was tried and true, at $40 no less, was a really hard choice to make.Again, Diva Cups are now $40! So, rather than taking that leap, I saw this advertised and was instantly drawn to the price, but I also liked what I saw as far as the design was concerned; the ball vs. the stem, the fact that it came with two -- so no more guessing what size will fit me, now, now that I've had two kids. SPOILER ALERT: the smaller cup fits just fine and is what I use; no leaks!I made the leap, because at $10, why the heck not!? And this cup is amazing. Totally glad I took a leap of faith and went with this one. It is everything like the Diva Cup, but so much better with the ball and not just the straight stem. Also, only a fraction of the cost and you get double the product. It comes in a very cute cylindrical box and has a silk bag for the cup.JUST AMAZING. If you're a fan of the high-priced menstrual cups, but don't want to fork over that much money (as no one should) then go with this one. You will NOT be disappointed.

Where Have You Been All My Life!
Had I known about these instead of tampons in high school! The cup has been around since the 1800s. Why didn't my elders tell me about this? Initially I was skeptical. However these are so comfortable. I'm in love. The Positives: Soft and flexible. Easy to clean. I did purchase the Care Cup Wash. Easy to reinsert. They do last for up to 12 hours wear. 6 hours for a heavy flow day. The amount of money you save on purchasing tampons! It feels more natural and I can train with it. Sleeping with it is not a problem. Just make sure you empty it and reinsert right before bed time. Very eco friendly. They last for years! No more tampons in the trash. I'm doing my part to ease the burden of landfills on our planet. The Negatives: The removal! Newbie blues. I thought I had to go to the emergency room the first time I tried to remove it. It wouldn't come out! That's because the cup makes a "seal" around your vaginal wall and the opening of your cervix. This kit should have come with details on that and instructions on how to remove it. I had to Google it. I'm not kidding. Some Tips: Never pull on the tab to remove it. Once it makes a "seal" it's not coming out that way. It won't budge. Hence, the three finger removal method: Squat, in the shower or on the toilet and take your thumb and middle finger to grip the tab, then take your index finger and slide it along your vaginal wall and the side of the cup and press inward to break the "seal". You will feel a pop or air woosh out. It may also be messy, this is normal. As you press with your index finger, do not let go of the tab. You will feel the cup collapse into a U-shape, the same shape you need to insert it. Once it collapses, then pull on the tab while keeping your index finger pressed on the cup and it will slide right out. Empty it, rinse and wash with warm water and your foam cup wash then dry it and reinsert or store in the pouch. Also invest in a menstral cup sterilizer. Use it in between cycles. Care Cup, get it together. Your product must come with detailed removal instructions. I could just see some teen in tears in the bathroom trying not to have a meltdown, thinking she's doomed because the frickin' thing won't budge!

Holds great but difficult to get unfolded inside.
I recently had to stop using tampons because my body kept rejecting them. Pads are gross to me, so I bought these. The smaller one would not open inside no matter what; I assume it’s because the silicone is thinner and too pliable. The larger works for me best, but I still had some issues getting it to open at first. I finally figured out how to fold it in a way to get it to open quicker so insertion is quicker as a result. It took some time to learn to remove it but the ridges at the base definitely helps. I would not recommend removing it by gripping just the ball. If you are a cup first-timer like me, I recommend learning to relax your muscles down there in order to make insertion easier.Once it’s in place it holds really well and I haven’t had any leaks. I have a heavy flow (I typically wear overnights during the day) and I am able to leave it in a full 24 hours without issues. I take it out , wash and rinse it, and replace it in the shower and it’s usually anywhere between halfway to 2/3 full. I will most likely invest in a better quality brand soon but this cup works fine and I’m loving the money I’m saving from not having to buy Tampax and the time I’m saving (and convenience) from not having to change so much. Probably won’t ever go back to tampons as these are more convenient and comfortable. Not a bad purchase for beginners.
