This wooden stand is a game changer for my embroidery/cross stitch! It was easy to put together. It fits my wooden hoops (which are what I use due to cost and ability to then frame finished works). Great value for the cost. I did read a review stating it would not hold the hoop. If this happens to you, put the screw in the opposite way. Mine has been steady since I reversed the screw. I have been able to use this on my couch in addition to a chair with no cushion. Can’t wait to try it out in the car in a trip! It is a solid construction. Wood is sanded smooth. You could paint or stain if you wanted to but I like the look of the wood. Overall I recommend this for product. It has allowed me to have both hands to stitch. It is easily taken anywhere making it highly functional for stitchers.

Excellent 3rd hand! For larger work it really helps hold the hoop and allows front and back views when working. Repositioning is easy with height adjustment for sitting or standing. Would recommend this product.

It’s a very nice embroidery stand!!! It’s sturdy and is just as adjustable as it was claimed to be!!!! The top gets a nice grip on your hoop so it’s nice and sturdy!! It was very easy to put together came in a lil bag smelling of fresh pine and it was together in under a min!!!!! (It was five stars but the nice pine smell isn’t going away and it smells hella strong beware!!!!)

This stand has helped me so much as I am trying to learn embroidery. It holds the hoop tightly and doesn’t need a lot of pressure on the bottom to stand up. I am able to use two hands freely with this stand. I don’t have to touch the hoop at all. The assembly is very important though, of the two flat top pieces the one with metal has to go on the bottom of it will not work!

I wanted to try out a hoop stand and it makes a big difference BUT this one is extremely basic. So it requires constant unscrewing and readjusting which wears out the wood, and now after having it for a few months the screws are stripped. So I will be replacing this one with something more high quality

It is unfinished wood so you could paint or finish it to your liking, it is well made and sturdy. It took a couple of minutes to figure out what side the screw went in to hold it in place and not have it flopping around but after that it was great. On the clamp that holds the hoop, make sure that the screw goes into the hole without the washer first and then the side with the washer is on the bottom.

It's not as I thought it will be one of the most flimsiest stands I have used. I didn't even want to finish my project on this because it felt like it was going to break. I'll be returning this item and hopefully get my money back. Grip is horrible, is not versatile and value for your money is not there the fit is all broken and the weight is so bad. This is exactly what I was looking for: sturdy, decent quality, easy to assemble, good price. I only use it on the weekends, so I take it apart and put it back together again frequently, which takes about a minute. It might work better while sitting on a firm chair, but I use it on the sofa with no problems. No rough spots in the wood. I will never make French knots without an embroidery stand again--so much easier!!

This is great! Pleasantly surprised as the price is so low and I expected it to be cheaply made. The wood is solid, it’s very strong and holds the embroidery loops perfectly. I love that it’s so adjustable and pretty easy to bring along whenever you’re going.

It works great, holds my embroidery and has nice contours so it actually looks like a nice little piece in my home. I just wish it adjusted down further. I have it on the lowest adjustment and it's eye level to me at my kitchen table. I can't imagine why you'd want it higher than that, it would be unusable. I'm used to holding my hoop lower, so it'll take some time to get used to it being so high in the air. My stitching arm is getting more tired than it used to. But this will help heal the tendonitis I developed in my other arm from holding my hoop for hours at a time, so I do plan to use it and am mostly happy with it. I'll just have to try to rest the elbow of my stitching arm onto my table as I stitch.

I honestly can't believe I waited this long to pull the trigger on this! It is incredibly practical and fits perfectly into my daily routine. The assembly was a total breeze—no missing parts or confusing diagrams. For the price, the build quality is impressive and feels like it will last. Definitely a 5-star purchase!
