Q: Hello, is the qualarc lm6-blk letter plate for liberty chute hinged and how does it mount to the chute?

Thank you for your question! The letter plates are hinged. The letter plate screws onto the external portion of the chute. For installation we always recommend reaching out to a local contractor.

Q: Are Are there more specific dimensions available? The length to the bend. The length from the plate to the lower and upper edge of the chute?

Exterior door - hinges up and down, 12.5 x 5”; Mail slot opening, 9 x 2.25”; Mail slot opening to first curve downward, 4”; Mail slot opening to end of chute, both top and bottom of chute, 8”. This is a rugged and handsome product, and with a price to match, but worth the price if you like it’s looks and features. Took me 6 to 8 hours to install; that involved complicated exterior wall surface. Good luck. stchar
