nice quality
I bought one to put by a tree in honor of my husband. Some family members were so impressed with the quality that I ordered two more for them to honor some of other family members to place at the cemetery (the quality was that nice).

Exceeded my expectations, and finally a headstone!
I ordered this with a realistic expectation because of the price. So I didn't wanna get my hopes up.I've been wanting a headstone for my baby brother that passed years ago, for years. We don't have tons of money to spend on one, especially these days.It showed up FAST-which shocked me because I didn't expect it to be here for memorial day. I was so glad it did because I wanted to surprise my mom that we'd gotten it. The box looked like UPS had yelled the thing across the United States, but when we opened it, it was packed SO WONDERFULLY that you would've thought it had actually been treated with TLC.It was gorgeous. And so we'll done. I started crying and when my mom saw it, she started crying. We were lucky enough to have had an old bare stone base for a marker on my brother's grave, and by luck it fit there perfectly, so I'm not worried of it being blown or lifted off (maybe if there's a tornado but otherwise I'm not concerned of it going anywhere). This was just beautiful, and even if I do have to replace it later, I'm so thankful to have found it so that there's something to show that my brother was here, even if just for a short time.

Gorgeous True Artisan Craftsmanship Wonderful In Every Way
Few times in life are more difficult than when we lose a loved one, either human or animal, the broken heart doesn't distinguish nor prioritize our love nor pain of loss. Making the decisions of what items to purchase to memorialize and honor the memory of our beloved lost family members and friends are the hardest, most emotionally wrenching purchases we make. Yet, it's for exactly these reasons that I think it's especially important for consumers to write reviews of their opinions and experience - because somewhere down the road what is written may be of great help top another who is grieving. This stone, with it's beautiful symbol of the Tree of Life and flawless, deep cut engraving is simply gorgeous - the High polished granite, bold font and perfect symmetry make this piece wonderfully special and as powerful and endearing a tribute as it is truly stunning. Although there's no room for an epitaph I'm reminded of the heart wrenching documentary "Boy Interrupted" it's the story of a mothers journey through grief after her sons suicide - there's a point when she's asked about the inscription for her son not having an epitaph and only his name, date of birth and death. Her reply is "all people need to know is that someone loved him enough to carve his name" that was good enough for her, and it's good enough for me. It's the simplicity of this piece that's the true heart of it, it's the lack of those tiered and over used sentiments that let this stone speak with such a unique voice - and pay such a beautiful tribute to the one no longer here.Highest Recommendation.

Beautiful
I love this!!!!! I got this for a friend. It is amazing quality. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because of how light the wording is. You have to get it at the right angle in order to read it. ( good lighting for picture ) I wish it was a millimeter deeper. I am very worried about how this will wear over the years if it is out in the elements.

Gone but not forgotten!
When my father passed away a few years ago, we discovered that there was actually two unmarked graves close to his with only old concrete markers that were completely covered with grass. The cemetery had no records of burials but after asking relatives and diligently researching census records, we discovered that the two graves were actually my Dads Great Aunt and Uncle that passed away over 70 years ago. I immediately starting looking for some sort of marker I could afford to buy to place on their graves, so they would finally be remembered as they should. I found these beautiful, simple markers and had their names, birth and death dates engraved. The pieces weren’t very thick so I glued them on top of a smooth cement block so they would be above the grass and easily read. They are really beautiful and have held up really well. There was even enough room at the bottom of the markers to inscribe the words, Gone but not forgotten!

Extremely nice quality for the price
I bought this as a marker for my dad's ashes. It is really nice quality for the price. It is thin and we were afraid to put it on a stand in case it fell over, we did not want it to break. We cement glued it to a cinder block so that we could bury the block and have the memorial stone slightly above ground. My mother was very pleased with the final product.
