Disclaimer: I had it for about two weeks, if anything changes, I'll post the update.After I ordered this rope, first nice surprise was an email from a company thanking me, and assuring me that if anything goes wrong, I can just email them and they'll take care of it.Then the jump rope came. I got another email, them checking if I got it, and giving me a chance to enroll in their VIP club, giving access to ebook with workouts and exercises. Nothing I didn't already know, but it's a nice touch, especially for a beginner. There is also a comprehensive guide how to size your rope, also very handy.After about 5 minutes of sizing it according to their guideliness, I tried jumping. And boy, was I surprised.First, the size was good right off the first jump. Cutting cable was easy with a pair of wire cutters.Rotations are smooth, handles are light, cable cuts beautifuly through the air. I even managed to jump smoothly outside on a windy day, althoughmore speed was needed there. Plastic seems sturdy enough, cause so far, I dropped it few times, stepped on it few times, and it's still like new (hey, it happens when you wanna fo double unders after 40 minutes of jumping).And the double unders, oh, the infamous double unders. They're so easily executable with this cable (or learnable if you're new to them), that it's a pleasure doing them.Now, I'm not going to go as far as saying this is the best rope on the market. But having jumped the likes of Rogue SR-1 and similar, this easily pairs them, at the fraction of the cost. Definitely recommending it.

Very good quality materials are used starting from the steel rope which is encased in some sort of heavy duty slightly clear plastic to the smooth bearings. The finish of the rope is very slick and seems like it'll hold up a long time. If you grab the handle and spin it, the bearing will go 10 revolutions easily; speaking to the quality of the bearings. I've only had it a couple of weeks and it is holding up great.I'm 6'-2" and the longest setting is too long for me. This rope could probably work for someone as tall as 6'-6". I had to shorten it by about 2" on each side. Luckily the screw mechanism is very easy to adjust just with your fingers - no screw driver necessary. On top of that they give you extra screws! The final cherry on the top is the little plastic "screw clamps" that hold your rope perfectly wound so it's not a mess of cords in your gym bag. Very useful addition - I'm always for trying to keep things as neat and tidy as possible. See my pictures for illustrations.For $10, probably one of the best ropes you can get. And from what I read about the owners of the company and their warranty, seems like these folks will be more than happy to get a new rope over to you ASAP if your current one breaks for whatever reason.

I purchased this jumping rope to add it to my morning cardio warmup. I am a complete novice to jumping rope, but wanted something of high quality. This rope is made of steel cabling covered in plastic, and it hurts a lot when you swing it hard and miss a jump. It's basically a metal whip. It's great motivation to get it right.The length of the rope is easy to adjust. There are screws in the handles on each end that you loosen, pull the cable through, then tighten again. The excess cable can be cut off, but I tried to cut it with wire cutters and couldn't. I used my full-sized bolt cutters to do it instead. That tells me the cable is pretty durable.I don't have any recent rope-jumping experience to compare it to, but I was able to jump rope with this product without problems like tangling or it going too slowly.Overall, I do recommend this jumping rope. 4/5 stars

This is a great jump rope : it's thin and lightweight, and dead easy to set up and get going. It doesn't really feel "premium", but it's definitely sturdy and I'm sure will last for a long time. I'm 5'4 so there was some customisation needed...but that's just a matter of loosening a screw and moving it to adjust the position of the handles and then retightening. It's quicker than tying my shoes. I can tell the team at Survival and Cross love what they do - a day before I received my rope they had emailed me a guide on how to size up the rope.Hint : you tap on the rope with one foot, bring both handles straight up (equally). The handles should start around you armpits - so you can adjust and play around with it there.The rope is a steal for the price and I'm looking forward to putting in some solid hours on this thing. As I had to shorten the rope, there is some excess rope sticking out the handle. Easy enough to just take some scissors and cut it off. I just wish there was some way to kind of store that inside the handle so I wouldn't have to cut it off ...to share with my slightly taller roommates! But it's hardly an issue.

Es una cuerda aceptable de velocidad, pero no se recomienda para principiantes. Por ser muy delgada y lijera, no es tan fácil de llevar el ritmo del salto cuando uno es principiante. Pero con práctica se acostumbra uno a la cuerda.Lo que no me gusta es la forma en que se ajusta el largo de la cuerda. Si es tu cuerda, la mides a tu tamaño y listo. No es necesario reajustarla, por lo que un mecanismo mucho más permanente es mejor, porque los tornillos que traen pueden perderse facilmente si uno sale al parque para hacer cuerda. Casi pierdo uno al distraerme, pisar la cuerda y por el jalón salió uno disparado. Logré encontrarlo, pero otro mecanísmo sería mejor. Lo bueno es que incluyen un par de repuestos, pero significa que es un problema común.

These jumpropes are light and you can really do quick jumps with them. The ball bearing handles are smooth so the ropes don’t get tangles. High quality skipping rope!

Cuerda simple, cumple con su función. No le pongo más puntuación, porque al ser bajita, la ajusté y no pude cortar el sobrante que es súper incómodo al saltar.

Faccio boxe da svariati anni e ho sempre usato corde della Leone (le cambio ogni 5/6 mesi perchè le distruggo), ho voluto cambiare per curiosità e ho provato questa cosa in quanto consigliata su alcuni siti. Risultato? dopo il primo uso ho ricomprato una Leone.troppo leggera, sembra di usare uno spaghetto, difficile da controllare in quanto si aggroviglia e non rimane ben tesa, il meccanismo di fissaggio gratta contro il manico e la blocca un po (ma si può??).in sostanza, corda decente per chi vuole iniziare o ne fa un uso occasionale, sconsiglio ad esperti.

Prix imbattable pour cette corde à sauter. Excellente pour un premier achat... mais pas uniquement tellement elle est polyvalente. Légère, les roulements sont biens. Je recommande.
