Rhone Men's Swift Short Sleeve, Lightweight Running and Workout Shirt with Anti-Odor, Moisture Wicking Technology

I bought this for my marathon runner husband as a special (and expensive!) treat for Father's Day after doing a lot of research and wanting a solution to his stinky running closet. Reviews on Amazon and elsewhere indicated that this brand was the best. My husband has been injured since mid-June so he finally got to head out on the roads last week while wearing his fancy, brand new shirt. He let it hang dry after a first run, and after a second run the next day he washed it in cold water per the instructions and hung it to dry like he always does with his running clothes. The photos we took tell the story. The front and back of the shirt are covered with thread pulls with little frayed threads hanging out. He was so disappointed, and so was I! For a $68 dollar shirt this was a huge disappointment, and at $34 per run I feel this shirt was definitely not worth it. After 40 years of running, my husband has never seen a piece of gear fall apart like this after a single wash! We are so displeased with this purchase.

For the price, I would have expected the collar not to be stretched out. It feels great, but looks like an old worn-out T-shirt with a stretched collar. The experiment of buying expensive t-shirts is over.

This is an expensive shirt so I am going to be more critical about it. Collar is too big and the fabric is too thin. One wash in cold water and the threads seem to be strained in some parts. The odor technology seems to work, so that is one positive.

I use this shirt just for outdoor track or HIT workouts. Works well.

Quality of the product is excellent as I expect from Rhône but it’s not anti sweat. It was dripping wet within half hour of working out in an air conditioned gym.I would recommend their Reign line over this.

This is my favorite workout shirt. The material is great and extremely breathable. I can usually get two workouts in before it needs to be washed. I have a few Rhone items, shirts, shorts, masks, sweatpants, underwear and this shirt is my favorite one. It's form fitting around the shoulders and biceps which I like and loose around the waist. I will most likely buy the black in the future. 5/5 stars

I'm 6'2" - It's pretty short on me. (Ordered a large)

Shirt purchased for husband - good fit, great weight and vibrant color. He is pleased so I am too!
