Did this resonator help with rasp?

Didn't help in my car, VQ35de out of a 350z in a 74 datsun. My only solution was to move the rpm at which the rasp occurs with a 1/4 wavelength resonator. The rasp is not very noticeable at the higher rpms with my engine.

Can this be used as a muffler?

Absolutely. I replaced my mufflers on my Challenger Scat Pack with these. Sounds incredible. Louder and deeper tone than stock.

Well balanced and great

Installed this on a 2016 Mercedes C43. Very happy with the results. Lower RPM is deeper than higher RPM. Between 2.5 and 4 RPM it’s like a trumpet, which is great V6 turbo sound without rasp. While cruising drone is well eliminated giving a nice drive. Install it in replacement of the OEM resonator.
