I LOVE THIS PITCHER. I LOVE THE FILTERING SYSTEM.. WATER TASTES FRESH AND CLEAN. THE FILTERING SYSTEM IS QUICK AND DOESN'T TAKE LONG TO FILTER THROUGH TO THE PITCHER. THIS REPLACED ONE OF MY ZERO WATER PITCHERS THAT USED TO HAVE A FISHY SMELL AND TASTE AT TIMES. YES, I KNOW THE FILTERS NEED TO BE CHANGED TIMELY WHICH CAN AFFECT THE TASTE, PURITY AND QUALITY OF THE WATER. I'M TOTALLY SOLD ON THIS PITCHER. IT'S ATTRACTIVE, EASY TO HANDLE AND DOES A FANTASTIC JOB. WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

If, like me you want to know details about your purchase then read on. This is about the 3.5l Waterdrop filter jug, with the blue insert (not that that changes anything). Some reviews seemingly for this item are clearly not about this 3.5l jug. It is actually a 3.5l capacity and is therefore quite large. Sizes are as follows: H 26cm/11 ¼", D 26cm/10¼", W 13.4cm/5¼", handle: 13.5cm/7 ½" tall by 2.9cm/1 ⅛" diameter. It is very sturdy even when full. It's full weight when filled with water, 3 lemons & 2 limes (sliced) is 4Kg. The clearance between the handle and jug side )(standoff distance) is 3cm/1 ¼". So, even the cubbies of fingers will have no problems gripping it. I have arthritis in my hands and, although heavy when full, I can manage well lifting this from my fridge. Some well thought out placement and (in my case) support for the glass shelf helps greatly with this.I bought this jug as I already have a Waterdrop filtered water fridge tank with tap and wanted to keep my filter replacement as simple as possible. This is achieved by both units using the same filter insert: WD-PF-01A available from Amazon as a single purchase or repeat subscription (as I already have set up). Filtered product has no after taste, no odours and the equipment is easy to rinse out between refills. Filter is a simple soak in water (discard water after use) before using in the jug. The jug has a reminder lcd screen that 'counts' down to replacement of the filter, but I set my calendar to remind me of this anyway, but useful to have. It comes well packaged and, in my case, arrived in it's original box without secondary Amazon additional packaging. Altogether a great buy for my home made lemon/lime drinking water which is good for my type 2 diabetes and way better than buying bottled water with sweetners added.

Bought this pitcher as a gift for the family next door. In Texas our water is severely polluted from decades of pollution & contamination from oil companies. It's not safe for you or your animals to drink Tap water. Ask your vet if you don't believe us. The 200 gallon filters are one of it's biggest selling points. Both Brita and PUR require very frequent changes. Note we drink water 90% of the time. This product is much more cost efficient. We like the way the filter runs the whole width of the water jug; not just a corner. If you remove the lid to add water, put faucet in middle. This way each side of filter works.If you are in a hurry ( and who isn't these days?). You can use a recyclable straw to prop the little window on the top. Then pour water to purify with a measuring cup or something with a spout. Water tasted the cleanest, purest in a glass Metal cups can add a tiny taste and plastics retain odors. Took us a little to get used to taste. It's different. I would say pUR filtered water tastes better. Put when faucet was replaced, PUR no longer fit. The Water drop pitcher wins 4/5 categories. The wood handle is very strong and easy to grasp. Pitcher does get heavy when full. Do not add water past the filter. Happy Drinking

I like the fact that one filter lasts 90 days, it has 2 holes so the water filters quickly. It is quite heavy when full but has a wooden handle. You fill it with water directly from the tap, the water pressure opens a clear plastic hinged door in the lid so it's non touch. I appreciate filling it directly from the tap and not messing about removing the lid. I am a big fan of it

What I like about this pitcher is the easy set up. The instructions were easy to read and understand. Filling the pitcher was a breeze and the water tastes great.
