Update. Just read the most interesting thing in a book that says the hormone androsterone smells like nothing to 1/3 people, urine to 1/3 people and like sandalwood to 1/3 people. Guess that was me. Perhaps my review was unfair based on this fact and the rosewood Beads must’ve been the darker ones and the sandalwood beads were probably authentic? Changing my review from 1 to 5 as they were pretty and I had zero issues returning.Original review: Bought rosewood and sandalwood. One is slightly darker and smells WAY better. This smells like sandals wood and something funky
I have a few mala bead sets. I love the smell of sandlewood smells but this smells like the wood fell in poo and was wiped off. It’s kind of nasty. The beads are pretty but that smell is a no. It’s too late for me to return as I waited before opening it. Just be aware some of them are not good. Looks good but there is a foul scent over the Sandlewood. Very bummed
