It dosent tame frizz at all, it actually caused it. This to me is really fake, the label on the back just rubbed off just because i touched it. Mhm seems fake, because this could never possible be a real sheamoisture product. Let me tell you, when i first started to apply this to my 3b through 4a curls it was drying my hair, it felt like i was using a sulfate shampoo, but i paid it no mind intill i actually started to look at my hair in the mirror and realize that my hair was f*** up, i mean it was terrible, truly a hell for sent product. DO NOT BUY THIS OFF OF AMAZON OR FROM THIS SELLER for your hair's sake don't buy this, find in store or buy directly from sheamoisture cause this is some bs

I have been buying this product for months now, and I love it! However this last shipment I got was disgusting. I bought two of these and both smelled like something spoiled instead of the usual fruity smell. One of them had black stuff inside and I am not sure what that is but I am disgusted. I am begining to think the products are not legit and maybe even spoiled.

I’ve gotten this product before and it had a great smell. This product I received was sent to me opened (cover was taken off and a piece was left), and part of it has a yellow brown tint to it, and it’s only watery on top. I don’t know what to think of this actual product at the moment.

This product moisturizers well can be part of your LOC method.It does not tame frizz if you have 4B-C hair type. (don't look for a miracle).It does condition and detangle your hair.It is not heavy on your hair.

Ive been using this product for a while now, so I would know the difference if it was fake or not. Indeed it was. I was excited to use my hair mask tonight and to only find out that they put lotion In the container. Right away I knew there was something wrong. It smelt awful. The real product is thicker and has an amazing smell to it. Really disappointed.

I am on the fence with this product. I have multi textured 3A-3C thick curly hair. And when I used this it didn't appear to be very moisturizing. I applied the smoothie as a styler and used it over the leave in and Argan oil. I then I applied the Gel cream over the smoothie. I wasn't sure what to think UNTIL after I defused my hair I saw how my perfect my curls were defined, shiny and it also had volume. The next day...my curls even looked better. I actually got good curls on day 3 and 4 when using these products. I only gave it 3 stars because there are other products on the market that are cheaper in which I get the same if not better results. I will use it again to see to see if I can perfect it...I may change my rating.

I originally bought this as a refresher for 2nd, 3rd and 4th day hair. Unfortunately all it did was cause frizz and not tame it as the name says. So after a few failed attempts at refreshing came 'wash day' and I got this crazy cool idea to try it as a styler. I did my usual co-wash, condition, leave-in conditioner and then THIS with some gel on top. I totally did NOT expect to fall in love with this product but I did. For a styler that's VERY light weight it packs a lot of moisturizing, curl forming, major clumping punch. Even with my gel on top of this styler my hair felt soft and bouncy and it did NOT crunch after it all dried. I think I found my new styling cream.

Shea Moisture Super Fruit Complex is by far the best hair product line for the price. I don't like to spend a fortune on shampoo and conditioner and have been using SM SuperFruit (shampoo, conditioner, and hair masque) for over a year and the difference in my hair,using these products,is amazing. My husband, who has been a Head and Shoulders guy since I've known him, has even started using it. And it smells fantastic!

Product arrived with a broken lid, I've managed to get it to close properly by applying cellotape to the cap to prevent the broken plastic from pulling away from the thread. It smells lovely though. We shall see what it does for my 2a-2c waves.

Smells phenomenal. Ships fast. Lasts fairly long.

Great product for my 4c hair, brought it twice. Just a little bit too expensive.
