This SAE to USB adapter is a must-have for keeping devices charged during long rides. It is very easy to install and the 3.1Amp output provides plenty of juice for modern smartphones and GPS units. The build quality is weatherproof and rugged enough to handle constant vibration and road conditions.

I use these on all of my bikes, its a great unit. The fact it is an SAE plug makes it super easy to plug in a tender if needed. Only ever had one go bad because some dummy (me) left it open all year.

Great quality easy to install, wires are nice and thick with jackets that seem durable. The only things I don't really like is the crimped connectors that attach to the battery. They are super flimsy and thin. They are not usable. If you are planning on wiring this to the battery directly, I would replace the connectors. If you do wire it directly make sure you disconnect it. It will drain the battery within a few days of not riding. Which leads me to my other problem, the connector that is used to disconnect the plug, is extremely tight which is good for the waterproofing but depending on where you install it, it may become hard to unplug. I like the fact that you can use the plug for a battery tender but I would have liked to see a toggle switch to disconnect the power as opposed unplugging it. If you don't use it for the battery tender then I would recommend wiring it to the tail light or something else that comes on with the key. None of the above problems are deal breakers for me but keep it in mind if you were looking for a plug and play type thing. Overall it is a great quality item at a great price.

There are a couple of things I want on every motorcycle I own: -A cellphone holder so I can use GPS -A charger so I can keep using my phone GPS without worrying about battery life With these two items I can jump on the bike, ride for as long as my butt and my gas tank will allow, and not worry about running out of phone battery in the middle of nowhere. This unit is dead simple to install. The ring terminals go on the battery posts, the wire gets routed to the front of the bike, and the outlet is placed somewhere you can plug in a charging cable and have it reach your phone. I used 3M double-sided tape to bond it to the triple tree in a convenient spot. The charger body is very tiny so it's easy to find a place for it. I then looped up all the slack in the cable and zip-tied it to a nearby wiring harness to keep things from dangling. The charger has worked fine. It keeps my old and power-hungry phone topped up during riding. I like the fact that the wiring harness has a fuse installed near the battery. If a wire chafes through and grounds out on the frame, it'll pop the fuse. I won't have to worry about a smoking wire running the entire length of the bike underneath my plastic fairings (or near another wiring harness). For less than $10, this charger is well worth buying.

Works perfectly and is compatible with any power sports battery. Easy install on my Honda Grom with a MightyMax battery with a fast charging cable and it worked!

Great product easy set up

Great cheap product, works perfectly, cables are only just long enough to fit my DRZ400 as the battery is back under the rear fender.
