Painted my BMW interior with Black Satin.
I followed the instructions, but chose to sand for added security. This product performs as delivered- it adheres to plastic beautifully, leaves a soft satin finish, and the coverage is good. I have a BMW z3 with the standard "wood grain" glossy plastic (sorry to any fans of plastic wood grain, but yickkkk!). I also used the clear coat for UV protection as this car is a convertible. I have very little experience with spray paint. Just received the Red Pepper color which I will be using for the center consoles (matches my red car) since satin black performed so well. In areas I didn't get the edges so perfect, I thought I'd be crafty and spray some into a small cop and paint with a tiny brush. Not a great idea, this paint truly must be sprayed to be smooth, not a disaster- but it was a clear texture difference and required I spray another coat. After that additional coat, it was great. The thickness of this paint is just perfect, it will cover light scratches from over buffing. Give yourself the required distance to avoid drip marks.

GREAT Plastic Paint!
If you read and follow the instructions with care, noting the differences between them and what most rattle can paints require, you will learn that degreasing with mineral spirits or the like is a no-no. So do not do that. Do not prime. Do not do anything whatsoever beyond what are in the instructions. AND GIVE PROPER DRY TIMES ON BOTH ENDS. Do NOT respray after it says, or before it says, and ALLOW SEVEN DAYS MINIMUM BEFORE USING PART AT ALL. Seven days is the correct cure time. If you fail in any of these steps it will scratch and peel like you would expect plastic car parts to scrape and peel. If you do your job properly this stuff is FANTASTIC. I am re-doing the color of all my interior plastics in my 2003 Jeep Wrangler with this paint. It should be safe from UV, rain, dirt, gravel, etc. as I did the plastic wheel covers on my 2001 Honda Accord. They have been painted with this stuff (and in regular use) on my car for about seven months now, with no visible damage whatsoever. No blisters, no scrapes, no gouges, no peeling, no discoloration. They look GREAT. The finish is a dull semi-gloss, but they make this paint in a clear that works well and is just as tough. My wheel covers were poorly repainted by the dealership as a part of hiding all the crap in our two-year off-lease Certified, Pre-Owned car. It started to peel right away. Also, it was a brighter silver than the factory paint. When we repainted the 2001 car with a 2013 Civic color (Blue Dyno Pearl 2) the ratty wheel covers looked particularly sad. It was actually rather tragic. I promised myself to buy some nice alloy rims. And then I ran out of money for this project. So I decided to refinish the plastic covers that came on the steelies. (I painted the rims, too, but with a different pant, of course.) The long and the short of it is that I actually like these things now, so what was to be an inexpensive way to get by until alloy rims could be bought have now moved the rims to the "whenever I get to them" type of purchase. The repainted rims and covers came out nice. The color was a brushed nickel, I think. I would have liked it a bit lighter, but the silver was out of stock at the time of my purchase. With the dark blue paint they look pretty good, though, so who really cares? This some excellent plastic paint if you follow the written procedures, which, again, are not like what you may be expecting. Very highly recommended!

My second order for Krylon Fusion
My second order for Krylon Fusion paint, different color, and very happy with the painting results; except for my last project. First project was painting Trangia fuel bottles (polythene), and after prepping and cleaning the outer surface, the Fusion layered (several thin coats) and adhered very well (allowed 2-hours dry time between coats). After 24-hour last-coat drying time, the Fusion covered great and was not affected when some fuel accidently spilled on the painted surface. Impressed. Last project was painting on chrome-plated hardened steel. As you might expect, the Fusion did not adhere well to the chrome-plating. I didn't want to 'rough up' (sand prep) the chrome plating before spraying on the Fusion, though I cleaned the chrome well with alcohol, so the lack-of-adhesion result was not a surprise. However, the drop cloth I used behind the chrome while spraying now has a very durable painted surface. Not the paint's fault. It was worth a try, because the Fusion had done so well on my first project.

Very durable
I bought this to paint a cover above the main water valve for the house. So far the paint has been very durable. Itโs outside in all weather conditions and the paint still shines. So far there is no flaking or cracking. It was very easy to paint. I had it painted in a few hours. I waited several days before placing it outside. I only used about half the can of paint. Shipping was fast and the price was reasonable.

Saved a fortune on new shutters
My house shutters were terribly faded and needed to be replaced. Figuring that I had nothing to lose, I ordered the Hunter Green Krylon spray paint and my husband and I spent half a day removing, washing, and then painting 6 sets of shutters (two sets were tall, over 6'). It was a surprisingly easy project; the paint was great to work with and provided excellent coverage with two to three light coats. I couldn't be happier with the results and nine months later (with a blisteringly hot summer) they still look perfect. I saved a ton of money by doing this rather than buying new shutters. I purchased 8 cans but only needed 5.

Runs/drips everywhere and doesn't adhere like you'd think it should.
This is probably the most disappointing product I've experienced in some time. The product was extremely difficult to use. I'm not sure if it's the dispenser tip itself or the paint but it was running everywhere, dripping on everything and it didn't seem to adhere to the plastic shelf I was attempting to cover. It was a mess from the start and the shelves look like a seven year-old painted them. Well, maybe a drunk seven year-old (nothing good can come of that, can it?). I've never had an experience as bad as this with any conventional spray paint before. The irony is that I was really excited to actually try a product that was specifically designed to adhere to plastics better than your average spray paint. Someone really dropped the ball with this product - at least the can I was sent. I usually work with integers in my personal rating scale (-20 to +20). I'd have to give this entire experience a -15. At least it didn't cut off any limbs or spontaneously explode in the process. I will still have to go out and purchase another product to cover what's there now. This was a complete waste of time and energy.

Works good, not great.
I ordered 4 cans total of Krylon Fusion in various colors, all of them glossy finish. I used the spray paint to decorate a plastic tree stand and found that, unlike what the can says, it still works best when the plastic underneath has been lightly sanded. I noticed some other reviewers suggested using an adhesion primer but did not try that. The sanded surfaces are covered well and it seems pretty durable. The non-sanded surfaces look much smoother in general but I noticed some light chipping in areas which led me to sand those spots and re-paint them. I will be sealing all surfaces with some kind of polyurethane for an added layer of protection and all in all, I think the paint did the job. One more note: I had tried using paint markers (Sharpie brand) to add smaller detail on the stands and had no luck at first because of the plastic. Once I covered the plastic with the Krylon fusion, however, decorating with the Sharpie Paint markers (oil-based) was a breeze and turned out fantastically.

Paint was perfect job done . thanks

Meh
I would say it's good but the paint stripped down after a couple of weeks. You have to sand the plastic to apply this.
