250201 California Gold Spray Millet fo

When I buy this in fall and summer it is fresh, the sprays hold together, and the smell is lovely. I am pleased with how fat and dense the sprays are. Well packaged so the seeds didn't get knocked off. Our Guinea hens, dogs, geese, and goats love it and there is little left over for the wild birds. All I have to do is come out of the house with a few sprays in my hands and the Guineas practically put themselves to bed.

Sometimes this product arrives and is beautifully perfect, beyond the best one might hope for, and undeniably fresh. Other times, and the latest shipment was one of these, it’s virtually unusable. 25 lbs of mostly denuded stalks, everything was “dust”. Amazon accepted the return without hesitation. I then ordered through a different vendor (via Amazon). It wasn’t Golden Farms but my birds still enjoy it.

I have many birds and they eat this Millet like there is no tomorrow. It was shipped, as I expected, in a fast and orderly manner. The seeds are fresh and the packing is marvellous. I thank everyone at the shipping plant, especially the Manger, who seems to send everything out as if it were his own. I do buy the 5lb box as it is the best value for your money and I have never been disappointed. Thank you.

I've been buying Golden Farm's 5 pound boxes for years for my Gouldian Finches. I consider it to be bird cocaine as well as food. Then, I discovered the 25 pound box online. Same stuff, much better price. I do have to break it down into smaller packages for storage, but it's worth the effort. And Golden Farm's spray millet is, in my opinion, the best.

The 25lb order of millet was shipped quickly and the millet is large, fluffy and perfect. I will be cursing the large order when sealing it all into packages for the pantry, but I was grateful for the Christmas Eve surprise delivery. There are 13 full happy lovebirds in an aviary right now who approve of the quality millet we received.
