I've read here that some people didn't like the sticky and/or smelly sealer. It's like when you get a new pair of leather boots - they smell like leather and glue. I opened my package yesterday and it had a very slight smell of sealer and the one of the zipper seams was a little sticky (but not as bad as the leather work boots I bought late week), today it has no smell at all. The bag is completely lined with a heavy canvas and it is the canvas that has the sealer (sealant) treatment that makes it tough and water-tight. Handles are sewn and riveted making it capable of holding at least 50 pounds. I pack it with about fifty pounds of HVACR tools including a 2-stage vacuum pump, hoses, gauges and all my hand-tools without a hint of stress. It was the Deal of the Day when I bought it for under 50 bucks and it is well worth the money. I think the regular price was about 70 dollars, but even at that, it's a nice piece of gear. This one is too nice to use as a tool bag (I don't want to get it dirty), so I'm converting it now to a range/hunting bag.

He has never owned an item of pure, quality leather baggage, and this overnighter, with its exquisite craftsmanship, design, and roominess exceeds our expectations. He loves the zippered end pockets, and the strapped outside compartment. With dual zippered closures, you can securely lock the inner large compartment while traveling. The large, adjustable shoulder strap, and hand grips are perfect. He totally and without reservation recommends purchasing this multi-purpose, sturdy leather travel bag. The price is very reasonable, and again, the workmanship is superior. You will not regret owning this lovely bag.

Great product at a great price, but has a strong smell. Be prepared to let it air out before using it. We put fabric softener sheets in ours before giving out as gifts and let them sit for 3 days.

Do not fool yourself folks, this is a CHEAP leather bag made in a cheap overseas sweatshop. There is nothing designer or exclusive about this bag. The only reason I purchased it was the ridiculously cheap price Amazon offered me ... and I STILL nearly returned it when it arrived because I was so OUTRAGED that someone would sell this reasonably okay leather bag for the ridiculously cheap price with STICKY ADHESIVE covering all the zippers. I HATE WHEN THEY DO THIS! But this bag was so ridiculously cheap that I am not going to even bother returning it...I am just going to leave a terrible review so no one else makes the mistake I did! I AM NOT GOING TO SIT HERE AND ATTEMPT TO CLEAN STICKY ADHESIVE OFF THIS BRAND NEW PURCHASE! DO NOT BUY THIS TERRIBLE PRODUCT to punish these fools for ruining a reasonably priced decent bag.

Okay, first it says Italian cowhide, then it says goatskin. Uhh… yeah… Okay, it’s leather, seems nice enough so far. But does not seem substantial enough for full grain cowhide. For the price and intended use, I can live with the product; not happy with honesty level.

Very good quality with thick leather, sturdy fittings and rugged zippers. The finish is good given it’s a duffel bag meant to be roughly handled. The colour appears more orange than tan and needs to be weathered or wiped with leather cream to get the darker antique look. You need to shape and air the bag for a day before use as it comes in vacuum packaging for economical shipping. Great value for money.

A beautiful and stylish bag that offers plenty of utility, well worth its price. Lots of space to hold all your belongings! My only gripe is that the bag appears to have been recently chemically-treated as some metal parts were still covered in some kind of substance which I had to wipe off. There is also a really persistent chemical smell that has not gone away in the month that I have since owned this bag; it's not bad but it does become noticeable when indoors.
